BACK IN MARCH...The first foals of Gestüt Walbeck, by our prized stallion Agent Cooper, arrived amidst big location change. Their first month of life was in a lovely humble stud farm in Ireland. They will soon travel to Belgium to join the rest of the crop. From left to right: Hermosa Guanacaste, Kiko Jr and Anoche The grey filly is a shy and quiet like her dam, Costa Rica, she is rarely seen with the other foals and rather spend her time playing tag with her mom. She's been named Hermosa Guanacaste, one of Costa Rica's most magical beaches. The dark colt is by Kokopelli, nicknamed Kiko II, he's a bold youngster, often galloping around the paddock getting ears pinned and legs cocked at him. The chestnut, Anoche, has already been sold and her sweet face will be missed at the farm, during her stay she showed a bright mind for learning and a very curious spirit. We hope she makes a career with her new owner, Nikki .
And while the foals faced the cold irish winter, Agent Cooper was getting a much deserved freshener in Belgium, with all the paddock time, hacks, massages and chiropraxy sessions. Late march, he started in the first show of the season and we hope to only go up from there.

The old man Pitoreskus. It's always good to get off the crazy youngsters and ride a horse with a good head on his shoulders once in a while, Pito is definitely the go to horse to just chill and be a passenger.  |
