Builder's Workshop #1 – Fall-Themed Course DesignWorkshop Deadline: Nov 1 | For TS3 and TS4 Welcome to our first(-ish) Builder's Workshop! These are build and architectural design challenges hosted to help you step outside of your comfort zone and build something new! There's usually a theme, blueprint, or some kind of other building requirement you need to follow, but otherwise the only other rule is to use your creativity. As we enter into the fall season, your first Builder's Workshop task is to design an autumn-themed course. Your course can be for any discipline, but it must use decor and structural designs inspired by the autumn season. You have full creative interpretation of what that looks like, but remember to include some iconic fall elements such as browns, oranges, reds, and golds in your color choices, and clutter such as leaves, hay, apples, pumpkins–you get the gist! Spooky Halloween elements allowed, too! When it comes to your course design, there are no hard-fast rules. It doesn't need to be super realistic, unless you want it to be. Your only limit is your imagination! Builder's Workshop Prize 🍁Available for both The Sims 3 and The Sims 4, this workshop's prize is a Maple Leaf Jump Standard, as shown below! The pole and attached cups will be released separately and made available to everyone. Building Requirements- You must design a complete course for your discipline of choice.
- It must be fall-themed and photographed in the fall season.
- Minimum of 5 jumps or obstacles.
- Must include fall-themed colors, construction elements, and decor.
How to Enter:- Reply to this thread with up to 3 images of your build.
- 1 of those images must be top-down view of the course.
- If you want to showcase more than 3 images, please link to an album or create an image collage.
- You are encouraged to share your final creation with the community! You can drop a download link here with your entry or on our Discord.
- Sharing your build on social? Use #esbuildersworkshop so we can reblog your work on Tumblr!

Working Equitation | Beginner CourseFor Sims 4 At its most basic, working equitation assesses a rider’s skill and the progression of a horse’s training. It's origins date back to the mid-1990s when it was developed in southern Europe as a way to preserve and promote the riding traditions of Italy, France, Portugal and Spain, as well as to showcase the horses typically bred and used there for ranch work.Hello, future equestrian maestros! If prancing through the glamorous world of Working Equitation is your dream, prepare to leap into an obstacle course so quirky, it’s like the Olympics collided with a carnival. Don your top hat (or, more wisely, a helmet), and let’s unravel these equine enigmas! Course Overview 1. Single slalom Think of this as the dance of the drunk flamingo. You and your trusty steed will zig-zag gracefully (or not) around a series of poles. Aspiring to be like those swanky skiers in the Winter Olympics but with more horse and less snow? This is your jam!
2. Bridge Ah, the infamous bridge. It's like that rickety bridge in every adventure movie, but thankfully, no trolls or goblins under this one (or so we've been told). Pro tip: Get your horse to think of it as a sun-soaked, beach boardwalk. Pina coladas at the end are optional.
3. Move item (pumpkin) from one barrel to the other Halloween called; it wants its pumpkin relay back! Channel your inner Cinderella. But remember, horses don’t turn into coaches, so no dilly-dallying. Move that pumpkin and ride on!
4. 3 barrels Three's a crowd, right? Not in Working Equitation. Think of these barrels as three nosy neighbors gossiping at the local café. Your job? Gallop past, give them a nod, and go about your business without spilling the tea!
5. Bell corridor (ride through - ring the bell) Ever wanted to announce your arrival like a medieval lord entering a banquet? This is your chance. Ride gallantly through the corridor and give that bell a good ol’ ring. “Hear ye, hear ye, [Your Name] has entered the arena!”
6. Gate No, this isn't like the one at your fancy cousin's mansion. You've got to open, pass, and close this gate while remaining atop your four-legged buddy. A good time to practice those Jedi mind tricks you've been working on. "Gate, open yourself!" Or, you know, use your hands.
7. Sidepass over pole This is the equestrian version of the limbo, but sideways. How low can you go? Or rather, how smoothly can you side-step without turning the whole thing into a game of equine hopscotch?

I was so inspired by this challenge that I ended up making two courses. One sticks more closely to the theme of the challenge, while the other is just incredibly spoopy all around. CK's Autumn XC CourseFirst up is my Autumn XC Course, a 40x30 lot built in Henford-on-Bagley in Sims 4 featuring six jumps decorated with various autumn & harvest-themed objects both from the game and from custom content creators. This is actually the very first jump course I have ever designed, and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Shown below are jumps #1 & #5 <3 For more photos, details, and a cc list, check out my tumblr post~ CK's 2Spoopy XC CourseNext is my 2Spoopy XC course. Also built on a 40x30 lot using the same layout as the above, this was instead built in The Forgotten Hollow on the Straud Mansion lot. I kinda leaned right into the spooky theme, using game & CC to create a course clearly constructed by vampires with no sense of fire safety (look at all those open candles! next to dry vegetation!). I really learned a lot from making this course, as I used a lot more debug and live edit items than my autumn course. I can't believe how well this one turned out!

I am by no means a course designer, but I did my best to make a little Show Jumping course. It was a bit difficult since I was building on a 50x50 lot instead of a full 64x64 lot, but I managed.

Sunny's Spooky XC Course.
A simple spooky cross country course aimed more towards Beginner/Novice horses although the course gently builds in height with the final 3 jumps proving more daunting/challenging. A start box has been fitted to ensure horses get use to the start box during our training sessions, a shallow lake has also been installed to introduce horses to the water.
