Hey guys! Just popping in to get this in the feed. Show closes EOD tomorrow. REMEMBER: For eligibility your character and horse must be listed in the Disciplines (green) tab here. If your entry is DQ'd (will be noted in the final entry list), I'm sorry but you cannot collect XP!!!
However, you can repost your entries to your albums and collect photo/story XP (Combo = 100XP)  Due to the small amount of entries so far (I'm assuming everyone is off gallivanting about because it's summer break!), it's looking like we'll need to host another regional discipline show in September.  Get your last minute entries in! |

It was the first regional show for Rosanna since many, many years. She was there. Shrykos was there. They had reached something not obtainable for everyone, without Rosanna's bad luck shadowing her.
All that mattered was that they were there, together. She wouldn't mind if they didn't get to continue in the series. If it was to happen, then it would happen and they would try again next year. Rosanna used to be a big believer when it came to destiny and now that she had started to trust her fate again, she noticed herself becoming way calmer in all situations. If anything, at least Shrykos was mirroring her happiness and relaxed eagerness.

Ida was in her best drama queen mode. When she went to the show office to check in, her name was not in the participants list. Did she really drive the whole way to Dronningslund for nothing? Just to keep Saga's best horse Hämy in the game, when Saga herself was injured and couldn't compete? Putting her own eventing career aside for this year? Could anyone else be such a martyr? Luckily the nice -and very patient- lady in the office (thank you Josie!) sorted things out, and Ida got her permission to enter the competition. Always calming down as quickly as she boils over, Ida now enjoyed the jumping course to the fullest. Warm weather, the beautiful small town, audience photographing, Hämy trying his best as always, life was good again. |

Show Jumping, 110 cm Things were getting exciting for Marru. This was the biggest competition she had ever been in, with even TV- reporters present in the large arena. As she felt Tuikku would be ready to move to the higher classes, the jumps were bigger as well. -Just concentrate on the jumps, Marru was not sure if she was talking to the stallion or herself -Ignore the audience and the cameras and the judges and the heat and... Just. Jump. This is going to end just fine. |

Unlike Archie, who'd been whining about the heat all day, and Dot, who'd been a little more subtle about it but couldn't hide her pinkened cheeks and glossy skin, Agatha didn't mind the warmth. With the air still and somewhat humid, the sky pouring sunshine upon the land; her skin was open and waiting, ready to drink it. The heat, she thought, was like snow, and silence, and night, the way it accentuated the strangeness of normal things. She glanced down at the heavy heads of the camellia blossoms as she passed, blooming sleepily in the shade. Crickets sang tired songs from the ringside, hidden in the summer grasses. Poquelin swished his tail; a wiry sound, scraping the air, while his hooves in the sand were a hollow noise, and an even rhythm. Thump, thump, thump.
They halted in front of the judge. Saluted. Agatha, in her peripheral vision, could see the air shimmering. The image of the forest and mountains, aqueous with ninety-degree haze.
The bell sounded.
Agatha turned her eyes to the first fence and had Poquelin pick up a canter, her thoughts of the heat and its strange effect on things melted away in an instant.

Waiting poses! And not just for waiting! Also suitable for those lazy, easily distracted, or otherwise unconcerned types at your stable. Just a little set of four: a rider looking at their toes, their phone, the sky, and one hunching over and hurrumphing, with three fairly relaxed horse poses (and one ready to move off...) They mix and match quite well with each other/other basic poses in general, so hopefully you'll find them useful in your storytelling.
