ESEF Show Season Event - ESRPG - Regional - All Breeds - Ends July 31th

This event is associated with the ESRPG. This means that horses, characters, and establishments registered with the ESRPG can collect XP for their entries. However, this event is open to all members, and registration is not required for participation.

Location
As this is a regional event, ESEF is hosting this show in a town or small city near you! You'll not be driving more than 5 hours out, so the location should be reflective of your stable's home world. The show grounds should also be a little bit busier than what you're used to back home. If you're lucky, the local news may even be out filming your event!Event Details

Event Rules
- For eligibility your character and horse must be listed in the Disciplines (green) tab here. All other entrants will be disqualified.
- The eligible careers for this show are Athlete (horses) and Competitor (characters). However, futurity horses and educators are welcome to enter for 50XP. Veterinarians who represent a business (such as their clinic) may enter for 100XP (and are permitted to do a health-check type of entry).
- Horses can only collect XP once per career. Only horses clearly visible in the entry can earn XP.
- Max 4 entries per member per discipline.
- Each horse may only enter once (but you may include more than one picture per entry).
- Open to all breeds, and all types of characters, including fantasy.
- Horses must be over the age of 4 to enter.
- Competitors are allowed to ride multiple horses throughout the competition, but they may only collect XP once per career.
- No WIP posts! Post your entry only when it is 100% finished.
- XP can be collected once the entry is posted (it must fulfill entry requirements listed below!)
- Refusals, bad behavior, or injuries shown in your entry will not affect your ability to win the show overall.
- Disclaimer: By entering this show, you acknowledge that the winners of this event are determined by the event host, and based on their own criteria (see Judging). It will be judged to the best of their ability and based on integrity, however, judging is completely subjective. Results will be up to the judge's preferences and perspective.
- With the exception of a forum crash on the last couple days of the show, there will be no extension for this show because we're on a schedule.
- All cash play is optional! If you don't play with RP cash, you can ignore the fees and payouts.
Qualifying Points
These points will serve as qualifiers for each leg of the season. Entrants will be able to earn them by entering, but also through placing. Trying to earn as many Qualifying Points as possible will allow entrants to skip shows in the event that they have earned enough points to enter a future leg. Entry Requirements
- You must submit one photo and a brief 2-3 sentence caption about that photo.
- The entry should feel like a regional show. Something a little larger and busier than the last ESEF show you entered.
- The entry must capture the appropriate weather mentioned in the event's details.
- Riders and horses should be turned out within the gear appropriate for their discipline. See disciplines below for details.
- Arena should meet the requirements listed for the disciplines below.
- If representing a stable, your rider and horse shoulder wear the stable's colors in your event.
Judging
This event will be judged by community vote. Classes with more than 15 entrants will be split in two (or more if applicable). Additionally, the host will pick one favorite entry (regardless of placement) per discipline for an extra prize.Prizes
Regional Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Additional prizes may be available if any sponsors are willing to donate prizes.
Available Disciplines
Entries for this show are separated by discipline and editing level (edited vs non-edited).Dressage
- Turnout: Black tack; No leg wraps; Black jacket or white show shirt/polo and white breeches. Black belt and white or black gloves acceptable. Riding crop permitted.
- Arena: Sand or Grass, should have clearly visible arena markers, white fencing.
Show Jumping
- Turnout: Brown or black tack; Leg protection required; Dark-colored jacket or white show shirt/polo with dark or light breeches. Black belt and white or black gloves acceptable. Riding crop permitted.
- Arena: Sand, appropriately sized jumps for your horse's experience level. Jumps should be colorful for summer.
Eventing
- Turnout: Brown or black tack; Leg protection required; Stable colors should be obvious in both riding attire and tack. Breeches should be dark or light. Vest required for riders.
- Location: Field, appropriately sized xc jumps for your horse's experience level. Jumps should be natural looking with colored flowers.

This may be determined by the judge or host if they feel an entry has been wrongly categorized for the editing level.
