I really enjoyed the 1-10 ranking system, I think it gives members more of a chance to place rather than voting on one entry per class. Plus it felt a lot more honest. It did take some time thought, and I felt like the entries began to run together after a while. Maybe a shorter scale for smaller classes and a bigger scale for larger classes or visa versa?
