Lara knew the second she saw the changed class times everything was going to hell.The images of him spooking at his shadows or jumping at something dark in the distance played through her head. She originally planned to take Thumper to the early morning classes for his age group, but the time was changed to the late afternoon. The young stallion was hand walked every hour, dragging his humans left and right everytime. The warmup was a joke, so many new horses to meet and new sand to stick his nose in. Once in the testing arena, going through the course was surprisingly calm. Lara was relaxed, Thumper was paying attention to where his feet went, and everything was sailing just right. Until the colt decided to put some airs above ground in for their 20 meter circle.
