Finally got Damaske Fields (My first stable) and the story surrounding it together, though I need to finish building it.

I've finished about 75% of Damaske Fields' exterior. It's essentially just a bunch of shells. I don't decorate things until I need them for scenes xD

"Tell me, again, why we are doing this?" Cas groaned into his hand, shuffling through the paperwork on his desk.

"Because, we want to branch out and show our horses at more than confirmations and driving events. And we need a rider."

"Do we really?" Cas all but whined. "We can just tell her not to come."

Cerwen looked at her boss with amusement. He was a young man, almost ten years her junior, and often so stoic that she forgot just how young; it was moments like these that made her remember. "No, we can't. She's due in an hour. She's a trained eventer, and overall skilled rider. She'll be good for us."

Cas sighed, and with a shake of his head, turned back to his paperwork.

An hour had never felt so short.

I was mentioning in the general chat that I have so many sims and stories that I start and semi-abandon as I move on to the next thing (and this happens very frequently). So I've decided that I'm going to bring some of those sims over here to join the two establishments that I've started and treat this as sort of an alternate universe for them (as their original stories and backgrounds, etc. have nothing to do with the equestrian world).

They'll be introduced formally, as staff in the corresponding establishment's page, but I thought I'd share their pics here first (that I've taken of them in the past) and post the links to their tag on my tumblr in case you're interested in them.


First up is Svetlana Verokaj. She'll be joining Damaske Fields' team. (I never did much with her, as she was an extra in another story, so no link)




The next two will be joining the Sutherland Manor team (whenever I get it together). They won't be "main" characters but still.

From the window of his office, Cas saw a car pull up the gravel almost exactly an hour later. He couldn't place precisely made him so apprehensive about this new rider—what was her name —Silva! Adielle Silva.




This was his idea after all, branching out and showing the world that Irish draughts weren't just good for making sport horses, but could be competitive right alongside them. He also wanted Damaske to surpass his grandfather's legacy; they had amazing horses with talent that was worth showing, not just breeding them for.

Cerwen had gone to greet their new employee. He supposed he should as well; he had done enough psychoanalysis for the day.



Rounding the corner, he saw Cerwen's back towards him. She was standing in front of a slightly smaller figure, both of their tones hushed from this distance. As he drew closer he nearly stopped in his tracks

Before him stood, what had to be the most beautiful creature, human or horse, he'd ever seen. Her eyes, a shade shy of pitch black, settled on him.

'Damn it all, Cerwen!' Was she trying to kill him?



"—and the man himself, right on time." Cerwen gestured towards him with a flourish as he got within audible range.

"Cassian Alexander", he heard himself say. Stopping in front of them, he extended his hand in the smaller woman's direction.

"Adielle Silva." Her eyes seemed to smile as she firmly returned his gesture. Cas grimaced at how soft her hand was; berating himself for even thinking about it.



His manners kicked in. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Ms. Silva. Damaske Fields is pleased to have you. Now, if you will excuse me, ladies." He gave a slight bow of his head and turned, walking briskly towards the mare barn, praying that it looked like he had something very important to tend to.
