Adielle had been finishing up Night's morning lunge when a trailer pulled onto the property. Having just put Night in his stall, she jogged back outside to see what was happening with the trailer; she couldn't help it, she was curious. She rounded the corner just in time to see Cassian leading a gorgeous brown and white horse off the trailer.

"I know I haven't been here long, but this is certainly new", Adielle called as she walked closer. Damaske Fields specialized in Irish Draughts and Orlov Trotters and this new horse was clearly neither.

"No, you're right. This is different for us too", Cassian chuckled. "His name is Emeren's Flight", he continued, "We got him from Sherwood Equestrian Center. A six year old, Friesian pinto stallion; I couldn't pass him up."

Cassian's eyes lit up when he said that and Adielle couldn't help the smile that spread across her face; you could tell how passionate he was about horses, just by that one look.

Adielle shifted her gaze to the beautiful creature at Cassian's side. For being so young, he walked calmly down the ramp of the trailer and was looking her over with an intelligent eye. She also couldn't ignore the crinkly waves of his majestic mane. He looked promising, she wandered who was going to be overseeing the little bugger.

Yup! I'm redoing it; the entire property is getting an overhaul. I was watching a bunch of stable and property tours on YouTube and got a bunch of inspo. Now I just need the motivation. I also need to fix Cassian's face XD

I'm finally getting around to making the other horses at Damaske Fields.

This is Hellfire's Valour, a 10 year old Irish Draught mare who competes in show jumping.

Like her name and coat suggest, she's a bit of a spitfire and has quite the strong presence in the show ring. She needs a strong hand, but generally listens to her rider. She often has a look in her eyes that suggests the humans are stupid, even if she is deciding to listen to them.

Every time I go in game to take show jumping pictures, or just have jumps in a picture, I realize that I have poles but never downloaded any standards.

So now I'm downloading a ton of standards XD

Ha! Thank you both for going over to my tumblr, that's where I spend most of my time and do most of my sims related things (all of which are not equestrian related), so I'm glad you enjoyed it over there If you've taken a glimpse at my tumblr then you know that I have like 8000 sims and 100 stories that have never been finished xD I tend to cycle through things, maybe one day I'll make it back around to those stories. 

For the past month though, when I've had the time to do sims stuff, I've been focusing on equus. I just added a third stable and accompanying story to my equus hoard so once I finish building all of these facilities I hope to delve more into the stories that accompany each of my stables...hmm, I think I'm actually going to write some scenes tonight, so look out for those!
