Heat wave (in the Finnish scale at least)
It's 30°C in shadow. We try to survive the days indoors, sitting in front of the floor fan, our whole staff side by side. The nights aren't much easier. Our new indoor arena wasn't finished a day too early. We are so happy about it, it's so cool and clean, still smelling of the wet paint and freshly cut wood. At least we get some training done there. Me and Tilde got the boys out swimming. Most of the horses enjoy swimming, but these two have made it to the whole new level. They are like seahorses, propably never putting their hooves on the dry ground again, if it was up to their decision.

I don't know how I haven't found your album before.. but I'm utterly in love <3
You know already how much I love your lots, the first time I saw them I sent the link to all my friends because I was just amazed.. you have such an amazing rustic style that I'm totally jealous of. I adore your finn horses and love seeing them in shows, i'm just sad that I've missed so many updates by not finding your album sooner!

Quiet moments and some new curly ears
The rare few seconds of trust. Better not move or say a word, or she'll shy away again.
It doesn't look like we are doing anything, but the moments like this mean everything with my new, still very cautious mare.
Yep, we have some new non- Icelandic gaited horses in the small new stable we have bought! More on that later, when all the paperwork, renovating an all that is finished, but there's already some Tennessee Walking Horses and Saddlebreds waiting for us. The two marwaris, beautiful Kajari KS above and stallion Badal KS were bought from danielle 's Kamala Stud. Badal is very calm and the new home didn't stress him out at all, while Kajari needed more time to find her feet. Both are doing fine now!

Don't mind me when I do some Finnhorse hyperventilation here  I have no words how happy I am to see this many Finnhorses here! It melts my heart to see Nuivan Jalopeno – he looks so professional and noble in your competition shots... His sire Jali could learn a lot from him ( ..........). But anyways, it just means a lot to me to see some our Finnhorse bloodlines on the other stable And your facilities; I love how creative and cosy they are, especially I love the tack rooms to the moon and back. I really should finish mine... Perhaps for the 5th anniversary for our stable next year :'D Please keep posting, there can never ever be enough posts about Finnhorses! |
