· · · · · · · · ·| | In Ratsumäki we enjoy little things. Beautiful nature that surrounds us. All those evergreen pine trees, fields of grass, small roads and forest paths offering little adventure. Gentle breeze that tickles our faces and plays with our horses' manes. The magic of changing seasons. Beautiful sunsets, northern lights and snowflakes falling from the sky. The beauty of flowers, nightless nights of summer. And the most importantly, a herd full of happy horses. Among these northern pine trees we raise Finnhorses for competitions and cuddles, happiness as a main goal. Prepare yourself for Finnhorse overdose and feel yourself welcomed ♡

Hello, friend! I'd like to welcome you to our new album! Snow has already started to melt and it looks very promising that spring will catch us up here in the north as well. However, before starting to post completely new photos, I'd like to repost some old ones from the old forum as our old album from there will get deleted with the forum itself. I have prepared some sets of old photos which I will post in small series here. I also realized, that Ratsumäki was founded back in April 2014, so we are celebrating four years of Finnhorse enthusiasm! #partypancakes

Yay Luna I'm happy you're on this forum! You're album already has such a perfect aesthetic, I love the first paragraph, it makes me feel so nostalgic haha <3 Happy four years!!! (there's no pancake emoji  just pretend there's a few pancakes) The fourth picture of your barn is dreamy, (I say it all the time) the lighting ahhhhh, it's so so so so pleasing and cozy. Kisses for the pony on the cross ties, and I'm pretty sure I know the horse who's cantering but I'm not 100% sure but she is gorgeous. I also love that bay, looks so royal <3 Can't wait to see more pictures! <3

This is some interesting scrapbook you've got here. I love the wide variety of angles you are using for your photos. It adds a lot of interest and creates a special and unique atmosphere. I'd love to see more!
And of course a great bunch of horses, beautiful coats!

You know this already..but your stable just has the best mood I've ever soon. Is that mostly editing or do you use reshade? A fog emitter?? Just how even. Well, I'm glad you like the new forum and I'm really happy you're hear with us. Looking forward to more pictures now that winter is over/almost over (at least where I am it is..not sure about in Finland).

It's time for second part of old photos from the past year! It's still very winter themed set but worry not, the final set has a lot less snow and after that I will be able to post some new spring photos for you. We are already enjoying sunshine and almost all snow has melted. It's not very warm yet but at least it's very pretty to see how the nature is waking up after the long winter ♡
