Love the perspective on some of these photos! The couple's photo is absolutely adorable! Such a calm and strong horse to do that. I love the world pictures too! I thought I was the only one who liked to take environment pictures.

It wasn't a dream, she did have a foal I don't really have any plans to breed her for myself but Keegan Noble has a nice collection of Finnhorses and she's a dear friend of mine so she bred Mimo to one of her stallions. I don't have a photo of the filly but she's a gorgeous shade of chestnut <3 and Mimo is happy pottering around the stables, getting spoiled rotten. I'm in the process of actually making facilities at the moment and she's one of very few horses that actually has a stall now, so hopefully I'll be organised soon and I'll make an album and show her off a bit more

Luna, I swear your album never even takes a break from being wonderful. Your pictures are always beautiful... Or better they should be called photographs, because that's what they pretty much are!♥

Back in April I was hopeful to show you some spring photos soon, but... Life happened, it's autumn now and I haven't posted here anything for months. This year haven't been the easiest for us and I will write more about it some day in the near future. As we never got the spring photos I promised, I thought it would have been a shame if there would be no summer photos either. So, I have prepared some summer photos for you and here is the first one! Minni (by Zinnia ) & Kerttu pretend they do other things too at pasture than eat (at least for half a second you know, there must be priorities in life!). Last but not least; I'd love to hear from you, friends, as I've missed you! Let me know how you're doing! ♡

Summer was hot. Insanely hot. Records were broken with heat – some news articles told us that it was warmer here in the north than how warm it was in Southern Europe. Yikes. Luckily our indoor arena remained quite pleasant to ride or, oh well, at least it was somewhat possible to ride there compared to the outside. Outdoor arenas were quite unused all summer long as we wanted to avoid to boil ourselves and the horses in the sun, to burn our skin and to water the arenas million times a day because drought made sand to become so dusty. ”It rained today when I visited the town”, Viktor said me one day. ”I counted like ten raindrops”, he continued and laughed. Yep, story of our summer weather in a nutshell.
Whole summer we pretty much focused on welfare of our horses, exercising in the indoor arena and going to trail walks to the forest at very early in the morning or very late in the evening to avoid the warmest hours of the day. And of course horses spent some time on the paddocks, too, but to be honest they looked quite relieved when we came to take them back inside as there were too warm outside for their taste too, and way too many annoying bugs around them made horses cranky.
So, here is a rare pic from last summer – training outside presented by two hot warriors of ours, Juha and Viljo! After the worst extreme heat waves the ”normal” heat felt quite ok early in the morning, so Juha took Viljo to one of our outdoor arenas to release some of his energy. It was really warm but Juha wanted to ride with long sleeved shirt 'cause "tan stripes in wrong places would ruin [his] style". Juha gonna Juha. However, I'm so happy to see these two together – Viljo is certainly not the easiest horse to ride, let alone to jump with (lets say that his style to jump is special enough to require advanced skills from his pilot) and here they are, jumping, and both look so happy. Or oh well, Juha looks cool but we all know he is so happy to see how a former harness racer is now enjoying life in different occupation as show jumper. ♡
PS. Don't judge those megashine poles; I was about to change them for better ones but my game thought it was a bad idea and crashed after I had taken literally only a few test shots to test the poses... and I was too lazy to edit something completely different in so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

eee, good to see you back!! i’ve missed you and your pretty pons 💖
your poor horses, basking in california-esque weather in finland. at least they look adorable! minni and kerttu are super cute (🥕🥕 for them), and i really love that picture of viljo. the way you draw manes so flawlessly and the perfection of your angles combines to make god-tier content 💯👌
