» dear diary
so... this is actually happening. right now. right here. our new adventure is about to begin, and i still can't believe my eyes.
the last few weeks has just been flying by. in about a month ago, i signed my new contract with this beautiful place, where i have to work as a groom. it is the first time i actually have been able to get a stable-job, and even though i wanted to get a job with more riding, this is actually an amazing opportunity. i can still hear the respons of one of my friends when i told her that i got this job. "Are you kidding me?? I have been applying for a job there for ages! Well, okay, only just for the last two years! How did you get that!?" it still makes me smile, actually.
well, maybe i should tell a bit more about this amazing place. the stable is actually quite new, they are not even finished building their new facilities. right now the facilities consist of the main stable - two sections with room for eight horses in each - a few paddocks since the first horses already have moved in last week, and two (!!) big and beautiful dressage arenas. you can hear the works being active around the grounds, trying to finish the last things. the indoor arena will be ready to use in a few weeks, but for now, we really don't need it! it is sooo hot these days, and it seems that the warm summer-weather won't go away any time soon.
until a few years ago, the stable has been a smaller private place, and is really becoming known around northern europe. maybe you have heard of it? Heiline Dressage.
okay, back to business. i arrived yesterday, and spent the whole day to get my things in order. i will be living at Heiline, and will be sharing a smaller house with two other grooms. i am really excited to get to know them more. with me i also have my very special friend - Danciera. she is actually bred be Heiline, which is quite funny. she is a 5 years old danish warmblood mare by Fürstenball. she is just beautiful, very tall and so sooo beautiful. i hope to get her out in the arena tomorrow, and get someone to get behind a camera to document our first ride in our new home. « |

this won't be a very long post, my hands are so tired of mucking out today.
my first few days here at Heiline has already went off. the time are really flying by doing work in the stable and preparing horses for the training. Heiline has some beautiful horses, and i hope to show them of soon. i just have to talk to some of the other girls a bit more, and see if someone would be helpful. 
this morning was so wierd. for the last few months, we nearly hasn't got any rain, but this morning was all about 'Fifty shades of grey', and finally - it is raining! i don't know when i last used those words. well, this morning, the first horse out in the arena, was the lovely, but quite bitchy mare: Heiline's Damiana. She is not a big horse, but dear God, she can move! Sebastian, Heiline's main rider, is putting a great deal of work into her. 
Damiana was not really enjoying the rain as much as some others, and neither did Heiline's Seebach and Shanie. Seebach was next in line, and as you might see, he is a really tall guy! Shanie had to stand on the stool to reach and check the stirrups before Sebastian could take over on handling the big guy in the arena.
I really hope to get some more pictures soon, and also maybe get to spent some time with the other girls.

L O O K B O O K C H A L L E N G E :: 08.08.18 ___________________________________________________________________________» I have always wanted to do a Lookbook Challenge, and finally decided to do one with Celina. I am quite pleased with her look and face, so now was the time! i have been inspired by the Lookbook challenge here in the forum, which was made from this one: click me!. I have already made the first 5 looks, which I will show of here. so... enjoy! My cousins wedding last summer in Northern Italy! What a day, what a weekend!
Day 04 :: Dance Class
I love, love, love dancing, and one of my most joyable classes was a HipHop class. It was so sweaty, but sooo so good!  Day 05 :: Meeting the Parents
... or well, in my case it was more like, meeting my sisters in-laws! my plan is to do all 25 days ... and hopefully when I am done, I can do one with equestrian themes too. For that I am planning to use our horses at Heiline, and maybe also using our staff! Let's see how it goes! « |
