Nikki - I will admit that even I think I've pretty much peaked with that edit, but I'm not mad about it. Zinnia - Yes, indeed, that would be me--although I do hope that you won't be quite so intimidated by me these days; I'm just an oddball here to play pixel ponies like everybody else, I promise. Time for that requisite photo that should be posted with every bump of this thread.  This image was part of a small photo set that I made for an Arabian themed contest on the other forum, and, as the thread title suggests, this poor little mare hasn't got a name, because I'm just terrible at them. So, I thought it might be interesting to get some kind of crowdsourcing going on for naming her, since I'm not about to have an epiphany about it. She's a young, sprightly Straight Egyptian Arabian mare, of seal bay coloring, with a small star, snips, and no leg markings. Have at it. She's stunning! I love how dark and rich her coat is! I'm thinking she could have some sort of earthy name, since her colour kind of reminds me of soil?

Names are the devil of me. Mia Lyng - Thank you! Europie would be a cute name, it's on the shortlist! Nikki - Hilariously, the water image was probably my least favorite of the bunch--but I'm glad you enjoyed it! And I can relate about the arabian names, they're... tricky. Zuna sounds like it would be quite cute--zoomy Zuna! Lidija Rotherford - I may or may not end up giving her away anyway because I've been having an attack of the downsizing bug but we'll see.danielle - Dark Sprite would be fitting, although maybe better on a black horse... hmmm, I'm saving that for later. Jericho Sharpe - For some reason the "earthy name" suggestion made me think of 'petrichor' which is now on the shortlist. Good suggestion! Kayla Albright - Thank you very kindly!
I did warn everybody that this scrapbook is nothing but reposts. Anyway, here's the two entries that I did for the Easter Breeders Showcase - one for Lorenzo II, my Friesian stallion, and one for Rumbaba AT, who is a... cob cross mare of questionable origin. Not that you'd be able to tell she's cobby when she's scoping out.   Why does one have a border and the other one doesn't? Because I was too lazy to put one on the second one, of course.
