Hello I'm Dimitri and I make things. Not often, but sometimes. I have some sims, too. I'm very fond of my characters, though most people are just here for the horses.
Aiden Jennings | Dimitri Dane | Caelin Dane (not a cat) | Morgan Gray | "Grim" Moire
I haven't had a proper scrapbook for over a year and I'm not sure what to do with this now. If my last scrapbooks were anything to go by, I probably won't post more than once a month or so, and usually they're only show entries, but I hope that they will be enjoyable nonetheless. I try not to take things too seriously these days. Custom Content | Character Biographies
I guess I should include an actual picture or something, now.
This is Lorenzo II. He tries very hard to be a good boy. He'll be entered into the current halter show when I can find the motivation to finish up his entry, instead of procrastinating by making scrapbook graphics. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a lovely day~

Repliesconstantine - Thank you, it means a lot because your horses are even lovelier. marie - It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one who hasn't got a clue what's going on anymore. It's been so long you'd think I'd have it figured out by now; alas. Annie S. - Thank you very much, that is kind to say; usually people don't mention my characters at all, ah-hah, but they're my darlings, probably moreso than even my horses these days. Mia Lyng - Thank you! I think that your pony Dreiklang is even more gorgeous and super cute~ Jill Reyes - The staff do their best to keep him nicely groomed--he is a prince, and he appreciates the attention, hah. The images in the banner are a collective from the last two years or so, I'm a very slow content creator, unfortunately, but I hope I will be able to be more active. I think your haflingers are stunning, by the way. <3
Sorry that this post is basically just replies and a repost, but there was a request from Annie S. in my CC thread about the Heavens Caller template, and it occurred to me that the entry I made it for was going to be deleted at the end of the month, so I figured I should put it... somewhere. This is now that somewhere. The creature was made for the create-a-breed workshop back on the old forum. It's a fantasy breed, which are things I'm very fond of making from time to time, a bit of a guilty pleasure that I enjoy even if they don't make sense to anybody else. Bit like my characters, really.
एअवेन चलर - "Heaven Caller" The "False Kirin"Listening
On mountaintops they soar...
High in the Himalayan mountains dwell what some scholars believe to be the inspiration for the mythical beasts that have appeared in several cultures surrounding the area. Known in their native Nepal as "Heaven Callers," their natures are known to be reclusive and particularly skittish, most likely on account of prior hunting by humans, as parts of the Heaven Callers are sought after for medicinal purposes, as well as used in rituals. Their horns, when ground to a powder and brewed into a tea, is said to grant immortality, while a cloak woven with even a few strands of their mane brings the wearer endless good fortune and wealth. Most scholars now refer to them as false kirins, as they are remarkably similar to the mythical Chinese creatures, and tales of them most likely served as the origin of inspiration for the kirin.Because of their elusiveness and remote habitat, they have been understandably hard to document and study, let alone capture or tame. Most of what we know about them has surfaced very recently, as more and more mountaineers have made treks high into the mountain ranges where the creatures live. A mere handful have been coaxed into human interactions, and even fewer have been persuaded to descend from the mountains. On the whole, they are independent animals, and can perhaps be described as being 'prideful.' They are particularly sensitive to human body language and tone of voice, and, though it is possible to form a strong and trusted bond with one, that amount of respect is difficult to earn. Harsher forms of taming them with common equestrian tools such as bridles and saddles have been met wholly with failure, as iron and other metals will sting them at the touch, although fine silver does not seem to harm them. Those who have been fortunate enough to be allowed to ride one have reported that their gaits are unlike that of any other equine, that they are so light upon their feet it is as though you are riding a cloud. In addition there is, of course, the fact that they are capable of flight, the mechanics of which are not yet understood. Of the specimens that have been documented, all have been of some gradient of gray or white, with dark legs and hooves, and soft dappling in the body, although there have been reports from mountain travelers that they come in a variety of colors and patterning. Their body coat is thin, and very sleek, much like a seal's, and is always cool to the touch, even when in high temperature climates. Their long beards, manes, and tail tufts are made of very fine, silky hair, which never seem to tangle--but they do thoroughly enjoy having it brushed despite this. They do not seem to get along with much other livestock, equine or otherwise, preferring to keep to themselves whenever possible, and refusing to enter a stall or other covered building. Specimens that dwell with humans also seem to have a particular habit of leaving periodically, either for a few hours or for weeks at a time, but if the bond with 'their' human is strong, they always return. We do not know where they go during these periods, nor why they leave, though some theories point to breeding seasons. Immature false kirins have never been documented and thus far there have been no successful breedings performed, but domestication attempts continue.

Aha so you are the owner of the lovely cross country picture I always see on the other forum's main site! I love that picture so much, it's beautiful. You're pictures, horses, and characters have always intimidated me, they are so unique and different I just adore it! I loved reading about the Heaven Caller they look so delicate with they're long lean legs, they're such an interesting breed.
