Temporary Turbulence "With currently 31 points(557 on Bridlepath / Jan'24) to their name in flat racing and steeplechase, this gelding is surely on an uphill adventure with an promising future ahead of him. Being the easy to handle stallion he is a prime example of well breed and behaved thoroughbreds. His nickname being Tim or Timmy, sometimes bugger or even burger depending on who is handling him, make him a million times cuter." The pastures were glimmering in the morning fog, dozen of little waterdroplets were hanging on the thin grass and the sound of distant pigeon waking up could be heard in the morning. Summer was coming to an end, the days were already shortening and trees begun to fade their lushious green leafs into a golden color. Green grass will become rare, clean horses even more. The rain will pour and drown the pastures, turning them into a slippery muddy matter."We should use the good weather while we still can", Matt mentioned while cleaning Tim and taking a short glance at the barn manager. "You know - I thought it would be a good oppertunity to introduce our racing team", he added. Slowly, one by one the racing team would get their profiles on the website of Stall Valentino where horses were bred since 1949.

Moonwalker"Stall Valentino introduces best prospect of 2023 racing season with a strong debut at the maiden race, setting new times with each training session and gaining more and more followers and fans. Moonwalker becoming a face to remember in the racing community."
A stallion should be difficult to handle, right? Especially when belonging to the spicy racing thoroughbreds. However this candidate prefers going crazy in his free time at the pasture which makes him easy to handle outside of it. Hidden talents such as jumping and loving children add to a potential family future horse after his retirement.

Sunny days - trouble ahead Matthew is having a troublesome day ahead ... but is he aware of that? I guess shows are always nervewrecking but it is definetly less of a headache when the horses behave nicely.(which none of Matthews did ) Was the first horse Moonwalker already a bad omen? I guess we shall find out! What happend Matthew pov: "I change into my outfit and wanted to check on Moonie then I saw his braids were open. My idea was to fix them outside the tent because the weather was so nice and the stall was a bit tight. Little did I know that this mofo is going to make a cha cha move and drag me with him ..."

Y-You did not just do that
Blizzard Force decided that if she does not get her princess treatment she will make sure to treat herself ... with attitude and decorative flowers. For Matthew it will be a long pain in the ass kind of day - first Moonwalkers cha cha move and now this ...soon to be salami_horse. And to make it even better - the judges didn't even pass them when "Fifi" stole another flower bouqet. Who will pay for the decorations?! Matthew POV: "I hate it here."

Ladies and gentleman - place your next bet on Temporary Turbulence (Nov.2023)
With a score of currently holding 278 points "Timmy" is currently in the top 10 of best horses of BP!With an earning of more than 10.000$ he sure is an expensive speedbeast. Holding the title Superstar in Turkoman Breedshow, Hot Favorite in flat racing and steeplechase. His genes are looking very promising on his daughter Purple Rain who scored in 2nd place in flat racing and steeplechase making her officialdebut in maiden races. Who can beat this beast if not the hot rival of Stall Valentino - Moonwalker! "We sure have the best racers!, said the owner of these powerhouse horses. "I am so proud to call these two my own. Timmy and Moonie will always have a special place in my heart and not only because they keep me from going bankrupt but also because they are a bright beginning of our thoroughbred breeding. I can definitelysense many future offspring having the genes of these two stallions in their bloodline. This is like a promise of sucess!" We got to take a glimpse of Temporary Turbulence in his training - and let me tell you - powerhouse, hot favorite and superstar? These titles are more than deserved!

She's miss California, hottest thing in west L.A.~ (...) Loves to be surrounded with superstars that know her name.
As the title already hints - Miss California VT dancing above the poles rhytmic to her themesong. (Music)"Turn on the music! It's Miss Cali time!", Matthew had an exciting smile on his lips. I guess you can tell that this ,usually grumpy, man had a great day and did not want it to end. His confidence today was above the sky and even the dressage session could kill his vibe. Matthew and dressage was a big enemies to haters situation. Big guy prefers more adrenaline with doing stuff that is not so safe to do. Riding the bull, running away from momma cows or fighting the goose of the property and getting chased into the cattle pens. Don't get me wrong, Matthew is an intelligent man but nevertheless still stupid. (Maybe because he never got to live out his impulsive thought stage.) Back to the lesson. Miss California is a show jumping x dressage horse and today she should have a little bit of exercise. She arrived a couple days ago and had the chance to settle in, meet her stall neighbours and get into the routine of Stall Valentino. Cali is a hopeful prospect out of Zinelley RPH and Florence SE, making her a promiseful offspring who already knows a lot. Trotting above poles in different pace, knowing how to undress herself from the blanket, chewing on bedding and ropes... yeah, more personality than skill (as of now). The mare was having a good time with the music playing in the background although at first it did irritate her where the music was coming from, spooking here and there, questioning Matthews authority, however soon she realized he's not one to give up easily and just took it lighthearted today. Man's just vibing today.

Might Bite VT
She might bite - she might kick, she might leave a build a whole empire. Who knows? With her debut in the Frosty Flat Racing Local Event and the Stocking Stuffers Steeplechase Finals - she secured her position at Valentino's Racing Stables. A true black mare is a rare sight - especially at Mino's collection of horses. You can count the black horses at one hand. However - if Might Bite continues to climb up the ranks in Bridlepath she might be in for the longer run and most likely be able to produce future racestars.
But as of now she is playing in the mud.- Titlesong of Might Bite VT

Train-ing Session with Balthazar the Norman Cob
"I almost forgot what color the sky has..", Matthew mentioned while lighting up his cigarette, taking a little break, stretching, and grunting while slowly coming up with the plan for today. Katelyn, his girlfriend, was not a fan of him smoking but she would let him for the sake of "peace", she already figured out that Matthews's habits are hard to get rid of and it was way easier to sooth him into something if she would let him have his smoking breaks. "Caught you!", she jumpscared her boyfriend, who choked on the smoke and started coughing. "That's what you get!", she triumphed and stroked a victory pose. "Anyway ...", Katelyn cupped Matthews's face between her hands, locked gaze, and was about to say something when the taller man blew his remaining smoke into her face, making her immediately put more distance between the two of them. "No kisses?", he asked provocatively. Katelyn shook her head, crossed her arms in front of her chest, and imagined the best way to get revenge. "I will make sure you will feel today's dressage lesson in your sleep! - no mercy!", she said. Matthew hated dressage with a passion, always saying it's uncomfortable, the saddle isn't made to be ridden by men, and all that type of stuff.

First lessons in 2024 The sun was up a little earlier than a couple of days ago. A sign that the wintertime is ending and the days become longer again. The need to take a coat with you every day turns into a question if you will need it today and then regret later that you did not take it with you. The weather forecast changes with each hour depending on wind and clouds.
Luckily today was a rather warm day where if you do outside work you would take your coat off and riding horses was definitely a task that made sure you feel warm. Orchard’s Sudno was having a lesson with riding instructor Theo. An experienced rider who rides eventing on various horses.“There’s no “it doesn’t work” - just a “I haven’t figured it out” - Theo

Disappointed but not suprised
If you know your horse you know what stunts they are going to pull. Mentally preparing and overthinking scenarios or even praying - some sacrifices may help you. However, at show time, you are left alone to figure it out yourself. Good luck, soldier.

Feel the power - feel the adrenaline
Imagine hurtling at over 60 kilometers per hour on an animal weighing 545 kilograms of pure muscle, with a mind of its own. It sounds like a suicide mission, doesn’t it?
“Hold him tight to the railing in the corners and let him stretch on the straights!” Matthew’s voice crackled through the earpiece. Jockey Emanuel, new to Stall Valentino, was perched on Fig, a powerful thoroughbred. Emanuel had a lineage steeped in horse racing: his grandfather trained racing horses, and his mother selected the broodmares and paired the future offspring. Thoroughbreds coursed through his veins, leaving him no choice but to follow the family tradition. Short and lightweight, Emanuel was the ideal training jockey. He might not compete in races, but his skill was invaluable for training young horses and keeping them in peak condition.
“Fig prefers you don’t get in his way!” Matthew added, eyes fixed on the timer in his hand, counting seconds, measuring distance, waiting for Fig to blaze past his mark.
Emanuel tightened his grip on the reins, feeling Fig’s powerful muscles bunch and release beneath him. The wind whipped past his face, and the pounding of hooves resonated through his body. Every fiber of his being was tuned to the rhythm of the horse, the synergy between rider and beast.
As they approached the first corner, Emanuel leaned into Fig, guiding him with a delicate touch. The horse responded seamlessly, hugging the rail with the grace of a seasoned dancer. Then came the straightaway, and Emanuel loosened the reins, letting Fig stretch out. The sensation was electrifying, a blend of speed, power, and raw energy. Emanuel’s heart raced, matching the thunderous beat of Fig’s hooves. He could feel the horse’s spirit, a fierce, untamed force that demanded respect and trust. They flew down the track, a blur of motion and adrenaline.
In those moments, Emanuel wasn’t just a jockey; he was part of something greater. The lineage, the training, the hours spent understanding each horse—all culminated in this breathtaking dance of speed and precision.
Matthew watched as Fig and Emanuel soared past his point, a smile of satisfaction playing on his lips. The young jockey was proving his worth, melding perfectly with the spirited thoroughbred. As they slowed down, Emanuel patted Fig’s neck, whispering words of encouragement. The horse snorted, steam rising from his flanks, eyes bright with the thrill of the run.
Emanuel dismounted, his legs shaky but his spirit soaring. He had found his place among the thoroughbreds, continuing a legacy that was etched in his very bones. Stall Valentino was more than a stable; it was home, and he was ready to embrace every challenge it brought.

Surviving the Heat: A Morning in Kairo with Careless Whisper
The early morning sun in Kairo is not for the faint of heart. By 8 a.m., the temperature can soar to a scorching 38°C (100°F), making it dangerously hot for anyone unfamiliar with the climate—humans and horses alike. That’s why our training sessions wrap up just as the sun starts to rise.
Our latest import, a horse named Careless Whisper, completed her training this morning with a time that left me satisfied. She might not be the fastest, but as long as she can keep up with the top five in the races, I’m content. Considering that breeders in Japan focus on different qualities, like color and speed, she’s doing a great job of adapting to our demands. A few more months, and she’ll be fully acclimatized to the new standards we’ve set. After the session, I caught up with Stephen, one of my trusted jockeys. As he loosened his helmet strap and slowed Careless Whisper down near the railings, I asked, “How did it feel?”
“She felt stiff at first,” Stephen replied, patting the sweat-soaked horse. “It was tough to get her going, and I had to encourage her a lot. But after a while, she stopped resisting and galloped more freely.” With the sun climbing higher, I couldn’t help but joke, “Time to give her a bath before the sun roasts us!”
As we headed back, I felt confident that with more time and training, Careless Whisper would be a force to reckon with. The road ahead may be challenging, but we're ready for it.
