Located in the heart of Snowdonia, Bryn Eira is home to the Eryri Pony, a new breed created with the help of Dr. Mediner, an Australian born, French geneticist. The Eryri Pony (affectionately known as the snow pony) is a sport bred pony descended from the Connemara, Welsh Sec B, Carneddau Pony and the Poney Français de Selle with one distinctive feature - green eyes! With the help of Dr. Mediner this is a unique trait all Eryri Ponies carry. Known to be quite inquisitive the Eryri Pony has amazing jumping ability and wonderful movement, they can be a little wicked (not bad tempered) and some are known to have cat like personalities, given their stables are surrounded by cats this is not surprising!.
