Story of Golden Valley Arabian Stables Shyan Lamus had always dreamed of owning a horse a pure bred Arabian.That was what she really wanted She had saved up enuff money and the day came that she went to go buy an Arabian. Shyan had looked at all the foals at one well known Arabian stable. She loved all the foals but one cought her eye off the bat. This little filly was pure bred Egyptian Arabian the owner said and had a Flaxen Chestnut coat this filly looked like a palomino. Shyan bought the filly named Alona GoldenSun Daystar. From that moment on Shyan was into horses even more. Shyan then bought two colts and one more filly. She was now on her way to making a stable of her own. Calling her stable Golden Valley Arabian Stables. She was very proud and now breeds full bred Straight Egyptian Arabians as well as French Trotters an Cleveland bays. She has a staff of several men and women to help her around the place. She owes her success to that one filly she bought first.

Shyan shook her head as she got dress in a hurry thinking of the day she bought that mare as a young filly."Ohhh Now i am coming pricness or should i say Queen Alona" Shyan yelled out her window smiling at the flaxen chestnut mare. it seemed like it was only yesterday i bought you Shyan thought an the memory came flooding in. Memory It was a spring day an Shyan jumped out of bed almost falling over the pile of horse magazines strewn across the floor."Ohh if i do not hurry the foals may be sold" Shyan then 19 thought as she hurried downstairs then. Shyan eat a fast breakfast said bye to her parents an took off. Shyan pulled her long bleach blond hair into a pony tail as she parked her truck with trailer at the famous Straight Egyptian Arabian Stable.She was tired but it was worth the eight hour drive. Shyan met up with the owner an they both went out to look at the foals. Shyan smiled as she saw the foals with the mares.She saw the greys an blacks an other colors as the owner talked about each one.Then Shyan looked up across the field as one mare came up from a hill.This mare had a filly in tow a flaxen chesnut looking like a red sun that was pressing her luck with her mother. Shyan had to laugh at the antics of this filly an watched them as they came up behind the rest. Shyan then turned to answer the owner then felt small lips tugging at her sleeve."Oh my sorry miss That filly is so much trouble" the owner said as he tried to shoo the filly away. "Oh no that is ok she is very pretty with that flaxen mane an tail.What is her name?" Shyan asked.The owner shook his head "That is Alona GoldenSun DayStar a pure bred Straight Egypian Arabian her mother an father are top show horses" the owner said. Shyan nodded an she knew this filly might be sold already"Guess you have a buyer for her already" Shyan said to the owner."Yea we did but the guy failed to pay so she is still up for sell. Shyan could not believe her ears "How much are you asking for her?" Shyan asked as the owner smiled an gave the price."Oh that much i see" Shyan said feeling a bit down cause what she had was not near enough money she had."Well i guess i better go look for another horse thanks for letting me see all these beauties though" Shyan said with a nod as the owner nodded to her. Shyan turned to go an was walking towards her truck when she head a shrill whinney. Shyan turned to see Alona pacing up an down the fence an smiled an turned around again the shrill whinny an Shyan turned again shaking her head. Shyan went to Alona smiling "What do you want hmm better go with the herd an your mother now" Shyan said stroking Alona's forehead. She saw a worker coming up "I am sorry but she was fretting so came to talk to her" Shyan explained."No need she likes you this little one" the young guy said nodding to Alona. " It has been said that Arabian horses pick their owners an that an Arabian will take care of its owner as no other horse will," someone once knowingly said, "for it has not only been raised to physical perfection, but has been instilled with a spirit of loyalty unparalleled by that of any other breed." The guy smiled again an turne to do his work.Shyan nodded an looked at Alona with a heavy heart "I can not have you not enuff money little Queen" Shyan said then rubbed Alona's neck an turned to go. Again the high shrill whinny as Shyan heard anouther voice the ownwer calling her back. "I saw what went on even before my helper even came to me. What would you do if you could have this filly? Cause it looks like Alona picked you" The ower smiled as Shyan opened her mouth in aww."I would give anything to have a filly like her but i do not have much money only what i saved" Shyan said showing her money.The owner rubbed his chin as a woman came up an smiled at her. "Well we do need more help around here" The lady said an the guy glanced at her."Tell you what we will do you work off the rest an you can buy her.Only if you truly want her bad enuff." Shyan could not believe her ears "Yes oh yes definitely yes yes thank you thank you." Shyan said as she patted Alona who was again tugging at her shirt. "that was seven years ago"Shyan thought as she went down to feed her beloved horses. "Yes Alona Queen here is your breakfast" Shyan chuckled as she poured Alona's feed in her bucket then fed the rest an watched them eat."Now do not be so picky Alona let the others eat" Shyan scolded jokingly as she watched them. Shyan could remember the first time Alona an Siraj let every horse out of their stalls. So Shyan would allow free roaming cause if she tried to lock them up they would all be out again. An it seemed like they were better for this as well.She learned allot as she raised Alona then bought the others an was still learning. Shyan hoped that she an the rest of her helpers would have one of the best Stables around her Stable The Golden Valley Arabian Stables.An it was all made because of that one filly Alona GoldenSun DayStar. "Morning Sunshine" a male voice said as he came up behind Shyan an gave her a kiss.It was Levi her husband an she smiled an kissed back "Soon will will need to get ready for the horse shows an even think on a foal crop" Levi said as he looked over at the stallion pasture an saw the stallions who were getting done eating their morning feed."Yes i know an can not wait to see how they do in the show ring.Yes we do need to figure that out as well" Shyan said looking at the Stallions now. Shyan smiled "I was remembering the first time i saw Alona an i can not forget the first time we met either" Shyan said chuckling as Levi gave her a side ways glance."Really an i do to the day you came out an asked the boss how much was the filly" Levi laughed a twinkle in his eyes.

At around nine Trevor white pulled up into the drive with his pick up truck. Shyan an Levi already had all the horses ready for Trevor as he came up "Hello hello " Trevor said waving as he came up."Hello Trevor" Shyan an Levi said smiling As Trevor began to look over each horse starting with Siraj."You guys planing on showing this year?" Trevor asked as he worked."Yes we all ready payed the entrance fees to a few shows" Shyan said as she calmed Alona an Suzette as Trevor worked. Hours passed as Trevor made sure each horse had his or her shots an was healthy enuff for the shows an breeding season. "They seem fine an are ready to go" Trevor said as he fished up "Would not mind see what foals come out of these beauties again Trevor chuckled as Levi smiled an nodded. "Yes we plan on Siraj an Alona, The Black with Fire an since we only have a pair of french trotters Roulette an Suzette an then Degare an Paris." Shyan said smiling "We can not wait eith on see what foals they throw this tome Levi said with a chuckle."Yea i do not blame you guys" Trevor said as he told them how much the vet bill was then left.Shyan smiled as she looked at her herd as they began to lead them back to the fields. Breeding season had come It was about a week later that Alona an Fire the two purebred Straight Egyptian arabian mares were showing signs that they were ready. So the next day bright an early after the horses were fed an taken care of Shyan took Alona out as Levi brought Siraj the first of the purebred Straight Egyptian artabian stallions out to meet Alona.Siraj gave a loud whinney an pranced around tossing his head as Levi led him over to one of the breeding fields where Shyan was waiting with Alona the first Straight Egypian Arabian mare. Alona perked her ears up an gave out an loud answering whinney to Sirag as she fidgeted around Shyan. Levi led Siraj into the field so the two horses could met. Siraj kicked out with one front hoof as he came near Alona an they touched noses.Shyan an Levi made sure everthing went ok then left the two alone. Shyan an Levi then went an got the other two Straight Egypain Arabian who were calling out to each other right then. Shyan took the lead rope for Fire the sec purebed Straight Egyptian Arabian mare an took her out to the sec breeding field while Levi went an got The Black the sec purebredStraight Egypian Arabian Stallion they had.The black tossed his head pranced as Levi led him to where Shyan was with Fire.The Black gave out a loud whinney as he saw Fire an Fire answered as she fidgeted herself around Shyan. Levi led The black up to Fire to let them meet.The black reared then the two toched noses an again Levi an Shyan stayed to make sure they were going to be ok together. They then left the field so The two could be alone. Shyan an Levii had lest the first of the horses in the pastures then lead them back to the main mare an stallion fields .Shyan then broughtGVA Madenoiselle Paris Brigtte the Cleveland bay mare out to the breeding fiald as Levi went to get SLS/GVA Aristade Degare the Cleveland Bay Stallion. Again there was Degare whinning to Paris an paris answered as Levi led Degare in.The horse figgited then met touching noses. Shyan an Levi made sure they were going to be ok then left them alone. Shya an Levi then went a brought out the French trotters Shyan led Gva Jolie Antoinette Suzette to the sec breeding field as Levi went an was leading SLS/GVAToujours Roulette out. Roulette snorted as he pranced twards the field an gave out a whinney.Suzzet of course answered as she walked an pranced around Shyan. the two horses met an again Shyan an Levi waited to see if they were ok an then left them alone. Shyan an Levi thought it best to allow their horse natrual herd behaviour but they did keep an eye on them thru the breeding season.Shyan an Levi could not wait to see what the foals would be like once here.An they knew that soon their french trotter an Cleveland bays would be together as well.

All went according to planed an Shyan an Levi led the Mares to the mare field bight an early next morning.The mares were tired but each one took care of her foal like a pro. Shyan An Levi watched them thru out the morning checking to see if all of them were doing ok. They lead the horses out one by one all were full of engery as they pranced an fidgeted as they were loaded up an were made sure they had plently of hey an water.Then Shyan an Levi took off knowing their stable was in good hands.It took about a week for the Lamus family to get the the first of the show grounds. They lead the horse to their stalls an then checked in at the house they were staying in.The weeks that fallowed were so busy that it seemed like ages that Shyan an Levi had not been home.
