B I O G R A P H Y ________________________________
Poquelin has two facial expressions in his repertoire: I'm bored and GET LOST.
(Stable theory has it that when baby Poquelin pinned his ears for the first time, the wind went and changed and stuck them that way ever since.)
He's grumpy, unaffectionate and impatient, and he hates everything except hating things, which is his equal favourite pastime next to dumping inattentive exercise riders, refusing to pose [nicely] for photographs, and ignoring Agatha when she tries to show him affection.
But to give him his due, Poquelin's insouciance has made him one of the most unflappable horses in the stable, and- despite the ugly faces and threateningly lifted hind leg- nobody can actually say they've been bitten or kicked. Performance wise, he's got a great canter, a better jump, can turn on a dime, and has a good attitude about his work-
- most days.

B I O G R A P H Y ________________________________
Zee is what most people would call a 'head turner.'
... And generally, he's turning them for one of three different reasons:
| 1. His judge-verified and common folk-approved good looks
2. His ground-swallowing movement and BIG jump, or
3. Whichever innocent spectacle he happens to have caused that day.
| It's not that he's not well-meaning. He is. He's just... strong. STRONG strong. And a little... inclined to flight in the face of surprises. Which makes him kiiind of a challenge for anyone lacking experience with such types, or the capacity to bench press 135 pounds. Either or. But all that freight-train stuff aside, he's lovely. Apart from his best friend- resident schoolmaster, Rabbit- Zee enjoys human company and is particularly fond of Archie, whom he'll greet every morning by lifting his head, perking his ears, and standing rigid the entire time it takes him to walk the length of the aisle to his stall. Whether this is exclusively due to affection is difficult to say: it's entirely possible it has something to do with the peppermints, soft butter caramels, homemade jammy dodgers and- oddly?- cherry tomatoes he has a moderately good chance of finding in Archie's pockets...
But, again: who can say?

B I O G R A P H Y ________________________________
Notorious for being a [harmless] nuisance in his youth, Streets has matured since arriving fresh and green on Lowmax soil several years ago. He no longer gets stuck in fences trying to investigate things beyond the pasture bounds, or ends up on the other side of them. He doesn't... ah...
-Well, that's about all that's changed in that area. He still has his 'toy box' filled to the brim with things he can throw, chew, trash and/or make a racket with, and his beloved duckie- having undergone several patching treatments- is still the favourite. He's still far too interested in the deer that wander near his pasture and still tries to follow them. He can still open doors, and still does.
Doesn't go anywhere. Just opens them. And waits.
While he may be a larrikin on the ground, he lives up to every expectation one would have of a horse of his lineage. Young in comparison to most of his competitors, you'd never know it watching him perform. Blessed with brains, bravery, and an honest-as-the-day-is-long attitude, he's often eclipsing seasoned veterans on competition day.
It should be noted that he has a curious penchant for coffee. He's no longer allowed to sip it or eat the mocha cookies June buys by the bag full (we learned that lesson the hard way) but that doesn't stop him from thoroughly enjoying knocking the cups over, and chewing on polystyrene or cardboard varieties. Crunch, crunch, crunch.
