Maeve held the save the date in her hand, reflecting upon how much had changed. It seemed like just yesterday she was riding the Irish Sport Horse stallion, Proper, in Grand Prix classes nationally. She had been merely 27 at the time, and six years changed more than she ever thought it could. She was now engaged to the successful CEO, Stanley. Their wedding date continued to creep nearer and nearer. She had stepped down from her place as a competitor, and turned her focus on restoring the inherited family business. Carolan Estate had once been a successful breeding facility. When Maeve had inherited it at 23, she hadn't been responsible enough to properly run it, and quietly sold off most of the horses. Now, Stanley was helping her locate a new facility to house the program. Fortunately, as a CEO, he also agreed to help her get the hang of managing the business side of a breeding operation. Who knew someone with no horse background could be such a perfect match for her?
