Ikkurana Park
Premium Danish Warmbloods since 1952
The rain pours down onto the Tasmanian mountains, the chill of the autumn wind blowing through the near bare trees. Anyone would think that you were somewhere in Europe or the UK, rather than in Australia. The weather certainly leads one to imagine that.
As the wind howls and the rain lashes down, the sound of a truck coming up the lonely dirt road breaks through the thick haze of rain. As the wildlife watches on in the fields beside the road, a battered grey ute rolls along the road, a young woman at the wheel frowning in concentration as she drives up to the end of the road.
She drives past a battered old sign - clearly having seen better days, she mused - and into the main carpark of the yard. She leaves the windscreen wipers on for a few minutes, getting a good look at her new surroundings. "I can't believe I'm actually here" she mutters, a tiny smile curling at her lips and excitement dancing in her dark brown eyes. Her whole life had been leading up to this moment, and now it was here.
Ikkurana Park was her home now. And now she had to prove herself worthy enough to stay....
