Hello there! Thanks for stopping by to look through our pleasant little scrapbook, we have a wide range of different horses but almost every horse is broke to drive and competes in the class.
We currently have a small bundle of horses but we plan to expand slowly, each horse that we own is trained mainly in driving then they get a second discipline such as showjumping, dressage, etc. Just keep an eye out because soon we will be introducing you to the team, horses, and the property.
Comments are welcome.

Here are some of the team members, currently this is just a group photos of the ladies but to be honest they do a large portion of the work here.
On the left you have Marilyn Day Ross she is the co-owner of RWS and she runs all the breeding programs and stud services at the stables, she doesn't ride very often but if hoping to get back into it once she finds that 'special' horse.
In the middle you have Jessie Anne Prescott, she is a newer addition to the barn but so far fits in great, she is witty and sweet and just has a real knack for horses, she is our head trainer and does everything from colt starting to three day event training.
On the far right we have Annie Maureen Ross, she is the adopted daughter to Marilyn and her husband and although she loves her adopted parents she doesn't really get along with them. Annie is quite and reserved, she prefers to do her barn chores and leave everyone else alone. Annie does the turn out for the horses, cares for newborn foals, and is in charge of exercising the horses regularly.
We do have two males characters to introduce as well but we currently have no pictures of them so that will be later.

Here are some pictures of the horses here at Ridgewood Stable. We have many different breeds but most of them are warmblood competitor types.
The first picture is of our beautiful mare and foal pair, this foal was the only foal born this year but we hope to have at least three foals on the ground next year, the mom is a 14 year old Irish Draught Horse her name is RWS The Northern Mist, but her barn name is Misty, she is an outstanding mare who is sweet and calm and has competed very successfully in cross country. For an Irish Draught she is quite athletic so we paired her with our Thoroughbred stallion and we got this gorgeous little filly. The sweet filly is about 3 months old and shows quite the athletic nature, we plan on selling her eventually but she is a little to young to be pulled from mom. This sweet girl is named, RWS The Northern Peak, and she was given the barn name North. This Irish Sport Horse filly will proceed to be raised on dam and then halter broke before we sell her to her new home,
This is a member of our stables who has been around the longest and will remain with our stables till his dying day. Meet RWS Moonstone, AKA Mooney. He was bred a long time back and has remained close to my heart ever since then. Mooney is a 8 year old Friesian/Appaloosa stallion who's main discipline is Dressage but he hasn't competed much recently. He also is familiar with low level jumping and cross country and knows quite a bit of liberty tricks. He hasn't sired many foals but we hope to get a few of his babies on the ground.
That's about it! We hope to slowly add more horses to our stable but for now we have this small little cluster of ponies.

It has been really really busy at the stables, we have been training hard and been accepting new members to our barnyard. But we managed to get some spare time early yesterday morning and Jessie took Misty out to do some flat work and burn the baby fat off. As you can see Misty's baby is hard at work running around the pen like a mad man. Next post should be some more pony introductions!

Okay so I have been seriously inactive and I am SO sorry! It's been a whole month since I have updated my album and I'm sorry! But I do have some new ponies to introduce to everyone!
First of all is this gorgeous mare!
Then our second mare is this gorgeous girl! She is a trained western pleasure mare and she is trained in pleasure driving.
Hope you like them! We are planning on introducing more stock horses into the barn later on.

Well here I am, alive and well (sort of ) I honestly have had serious lack of motivation and when I have no motivation I just don't post. I'm sure everyone can relate a little. I am just honestly never satisfied with my photos I keep trying and I usually get the same outcome every time but oh well. Looking at everyone else's organized and well thought out scrapbooks gives me motivation and inspiration to continue on with my beautifully, unorganized, mess of a scrapbook.
I enjoy the mess I have, eventually it will get better but for now .... I just don't care. With Fall sweeping in on us its hard for us to truly realize we're gonna have leaves to rake and snow to shovel soon, summer just didn't last long enough for us at RWS. Where did the time go? Between all the winterizing we are doing to the barn and vet visits we haven't really had time to sit around and take photos but the other day I was able to get a photo of this awesome pair.
Jessie and this gorgeous mare have been working hard at their western pleasure training, so far so good. We are hoping to enter this sweet mare in the next western competition.

It seems like I am always introducing some new horse and although I'd like to say this is my last introduction for a while that would be a lie. I have at least one more horse to create and add to my barn.
Any who let me introduce you to Charlie! He is a horse I bought back on the old site and when I changed websites I kind of lost him (whoops!) I couldn't find his old owner on this site but I did change him just a little. I just honestly added tobiano markings and since he is gelding I didn't really think it mattered.
He is just so sweet and calm, we has paired up nicely with Annie who has been trail riding, jumping, and doing some liberty riding.
