I wondering about establishments! Could I have a stable that does breeding and competing? Or could I have a competing stable that breeds and sells horses on a lower scale? Hey Emma! This may be subject to change but for now, you can think of your establishment as a regular asset, meaning they can hold 2 main positions (for example, breeding and competing). This doesn't mean of course that you can not do anything else. You can very well do breeding, competing, boarding, selling etc... all at the same time, it just means you have to choose your main activities for that establishment. Hope that answers it!

I’m sure it’s in the post I just read about rules and enrollment but I seriously struggle with reading and the more I’m looking at this, the less I understand or remember anything I’m trying to read.
If a horse is competing on the other site, I’m not sure what either one is called anymore though but it’s this one, is it disqualified from being registered here too? If not, does it have to do the same disciplines as the other one? Like if my horse does eventing and sJ over there but I only want him to do eventing here, is that okay?
It’ll be months before I have a computer or stable housing but I’m trying to start writing early to save time. So no rush replying—I’m not going anywhere. Thank you!
(also, I remember from lurking on the old forum, or community? idk anymore but either way, there was a small section for written roleplay. Which site would I do that on now, and do I have to do that only with registered horses?)

There's no rules about registering or competing with your horses regarding whether or not they're played with on other sites. To be registered here, you just need to complete the profile information for your horse/stable/character etc. Our entire forum is used for role-play However if you want to start a role-play thread with other players or your own characters, you can do that in the "Pony Tales" board.

Hi, i just want to ask some questions about ESRPG etc, sorry if they are a little stupid but i'm new here!
How many horses i can have per one character? And how many characters i can have at start? How many horses i can create at start? What is RP cash? Sorry, i dont know... Horses ages, how it's defined or is it my own decision? How character or horse can be registering? How it goes step by step?
I don't know how careers working exatly, so if someone wants to explain this a little bit more, i would be very grateful! PS. I was trying to read information of all ESRPG pages but everything isn't clear yet...

So I probably should have asked this before I went ahead and did it, but I changed the names of my establishment from Elmwood Farms to Stoneleigh Dressage, and changed all other threads to that name as well (horses, staff, etc). Was that ok to do? Or should I have remade a new thread? I'm not planning on using Elmwood Farms anymore at all.

I have a question pertaining to ESRPG, but also just competitions in general:
I've noticed, for competitions that have eventing listed as a discipline in addition to show jumping and dressage, that eventing has almost become synonymous with cross country, or rather all of the entries under eventing are cross country.
This makes sense as cross country is rarely listed separately. However, I was wondering, as eventing/horse trials technically include dressage, show jumping and cross country, if I have a horse/rider whose chosen discipline/path (esrpg) is eventing can I enter a picture of them doing dressage or show jumping under the label of eventing?

I was trying to read information of all ESRPG pages but everything isn't clear yet... Sorry for the super late reply! You can have as many horses and characters as you wish! There is no limit on the number of horses per character at this time, it is up to you. RP cash is just an optional currency. We list prices and fees for people who want to play with a currency and keep track of their spending/earnings. At this time, members have to keep track of it on their own, but I hope to implement some semi automatic tools to calculate and keep track of funds for members who wish to play with currency at some point in the future. Yes, this was absolutely fine! You did the right thing! (sorry for the late reply) I have a question pertaining to ESRPG, but also just competitions in general:

Christina Hello, sorry for the late reply. The reason why cross country is the picture requested for eventing in the latest shows is because those shows were multi discipline shows. Cross country has become the default picture for eventing so as to differentiate the discipline from dressage and show jumping. If the show had been eventing only, you would have been able to choose any of the phases of eventing for example. With that said, it all depends on the host. Whether or not the entry must depict a specific phase or any of them will be listed in the show post. There is no hard rule as of now, Christina and I just chose to have eventing be synonymous with cross country for the ESEF shows but other show hosts may do what they like in that regard.

Just curious how we can tell if our assets are fully registered. I've got all of my stuff filled out in the proper places (characters, horses, establishment all filled out) Just wondering if that means Im good to go, or if theres a page or document I have to wait for them to be added to.

Got a little silly doubt.
I was thinking on create a Clinic/Lesson. In one thread I read that anyone can hosted it and in other that just Educators can host them. I was planning to enrolled it with the ESRPG so people can earn some XP, but just my main character has the educator carrer (it's said trainer instead). Can I host the Clinic/Lesson anyway without a Educator enrolled? Hope my doubt can be understand

Hello everyone, so I'm new to equus sims and I have a few questions as it all seems very confusing..
So, at my stable I have a friesian stallion, a friesian mare and an Arabian mare. Can I choose their ages? How do I register them?
How does aging / pregnancy work?
Can you just make horses and add them to your stud?
Can you literally make your rider a grand prix rider or do they have to start out as a novice?
Same goes for the horses ^
So for example, say my friesian stallion is competing medium level and my rider is intermediate to start off with. Is that allowed for story purpose?
And also, how do you earn money on here?
Sorry for so many questions, I'll probably be back with more!!

So, at my stable I have a friesian stallion, a friesian mare and an Arabian mare. Can I choose their ages? How do I register them? Yes you can choose their ages. You can register (but don't have to to play) them here: hub.equus-sims.com/board/22/horses and riders here: hub.equus-sims.com/board/23/charactersHow does aging / pregnancy work? Aging is up to you, popular system is 4 real months = 1 year in game. However, how you age and if you age at all is up to you, same goes for pregnancy. Can you just make horses and add them to your stud? Sure! as many as you want and feel comfortable managing Can you literally make your rider a grand prix rider or do they have to start out as a novice? Same goes for the horses ^ So for example, say my friesian stallion is competing medium level and my rider is intermediate to start off with. Is that allowed for story purpose? Skill level of horses and riders is totally up to you. If you participate in ESRPG you collect XP which determine what level of show you can enter, which basically comes down to how the location looks like - size of arena and crowd, the higher the level, the bigger they are. And also, how do you earn money on here? There's no official money system here, many users like to trade. The only money mentioned is for RP purposes if someone likes to add this aspect to their gameplay for more realism.
