I've also got a question about the QP, is this the only way to get to a higher show teir or is the horse's level still good too? I remember (and it's still in the careers and bonuses sheet) that when a horse reaches a certain level he/she is eligible for a higher show teir or isn't this the case anymore?

Okay! I understand. Thank you very much for such a detailed explanation! I appreciate it. And no problems about my question with establishments, since this is one of those cases when it takes time and weighing all the pros and cons to achieve the best solution. Therefore, take your time with the answer, I understand. The main thing is that now I know what I need to do and with what it is better to start now! I also wanted to ask something else, please... It is about getting the XP for completing profiles, which profiles are exactly, how much XP is given for that? I'm not sure here... And do I understand correctly that the horses and the characters can get XP by using a Scrapbook? And if so, how much XP is also given for the one picture? I looked through the "ESRPG Careers and Bonuses" file but did not find about this, I think.... And if there are restrictions for the Scrapbook pictures, for example, one picture a day or a week, for one pair/horse/sim, etc.? Since, I can post a picture of a horse where it stands in stall in the stable or is galloping on the beach by the sea, etc., and such different pictures can be done a lot, so... I would like to know more about this please! Especially, because for me personally this is a pretty good reason to have a Scrapbook, then, actually... I really hope that this is not a weird quesions... There are no weird questions, don't worry!! Profiles will give you 100XP per completed profile. If you make a profile for staff member Karen for example, Karen will get 100XP. Profile XP can only be collected once. Making profiles for your assets serve two purposes, registering them and getting that extra XP to get you started. There are no restrictions on the number of pictures per sims/horses per day/week. The only restriction is that it has to be a different scene. Three pictures of the same scene even if the pose is different in each picture would still count as the same scene for instance. The goal is to basically tell stories with your pictures/texts, and you get points for each "story". As for the amount of points it is 50XP per horse/sim featured in a picture (scene), and 50XP per horse/sim featured in a text (must be a decent length of text. At the very least 4 sentences) (scene). If you write both a story and have a picture (or set of picture) it's 100XP per asset featured. You can absolutely feature more than 1 horse/sim per picture. It's possible to get XP for 4 horses at a time for example. They just have to be the focus of the shot (a horse blurred out in the background, for example, does not count). Gaining XP by just posting what you like is an incentive for you to be active but it is also to give people who aren't into showing something to do. There are definitely features we still need to work on (like cool things for breeders and all that), it's just been slow going lately! (lots going on in RL) Hope this clears out some things, and I'll get back to you on the establishment thing later this week hopefully

I remember (and it's still in the careers and bonuses sheet) that when a horse reaches a certain level he/she is eligible for a higher show teir or isn't this the case anymore? Hey Shea! So for the ESEF show series, all you need is QP to get to the next level, which you earn by participating in the previous ESEF shows (you need to participate in the local ESEF show to be able to enter the regional ESEF show). You will not be able to enter the regional ESEF show if you don't enter local, even if your assets have enough XP to enter regional in ESRPG shows. Regular ESRPG shows still require eligibility via levels earned by collecting XP. Think of the two as completely separate showing entities. The only thing that connects them is that ESEF allows you to earn XP on top of QP because XP is earned by participating on the forum and the ESEF show series is an event taking place on the forum. I'm not sure if this clears out things a bit. If not, let me know, and I'll try to explain things differently

Question regarding children and teenagers! Do they earn 50% of the XP, as I remember stated on the old forum, but I haven't seen such rule on this site? If so, what's the age they start earning full XP?

Im a tad bit confused still with the ESEF thing, I read over how the tiers work, but my question is that in the post it says if you have 0 points then you go into the first tier of a disipline to post in, but then it says for the second tier that in order to post in that one the first tier must have 10 entries?? Also the point system looks like it goes towards ESRPG? Im just a bit confused on the tiers and where the points go? are there now 2 point systems that we need to keep track of?

If so, what's the age they start earning full XP? As of right now everyone earns the same amount of XP regardless of age. We may go back depending on how things work out, but for now this works because it's simplest to implement Im a tad bit confused still with the ESEF thing, I read over how the tiers work, but my question is that in the post it says if you have 0 points then you go into the first tier of a disipline to post in, but then it says for the second tier that in order to post in that one the first tier must have 10 entries?? I'm going to let Josie answer your ESEF questions because she built the QP system. However, to answer your last couple of q's: there is an additional point system to track when participating in our official ESEF show season. You can read about the qualifying points here. This system works alongside the ESRPG but only XP pertains to the ESRPG as a whole, QP only pertains to ESEF shows, and therefore can only be collected from ESEF shows (so that you can qualify to reach the upper level shows during the show season). Hope this clears things up!

Also the point system looks like it goes towards ESRPG? Im just a bit confused on the tiers and where the points go? are there now 2 point systems that we need to keep track of? Alright so I'm going to try to explain as best as I can. The ESEF is simply the name a show series which is extended during the entire year, hence why we call it the ESRPG show season. Because it is a series, it requires you to enter previous shows to qualify for the next ones. However we wanted to allow people to miss one show if needed and reward people who place by giving the power to miss additional shows on top that, which is where the Qualification Points come into play. This is why you need a certain amount of qualifying points to enter the later shows in the series, points which can only be earned by participation to previous shows of the series and by placing in those shows. With that said, you do not need to place a single time to be able to go all the way to the end of the series, as long as you enter every show. For the disciplines, the way it works is that we allow everyone to enter any discipline of their choice in the first two shows of the series (local level). However to ensure fairness of placings and points earned, the next shows (regional and above) require the discipline to have been popular enough at the local level to ensure a certain number of participants in the future shows. Indeed it wouldn't be very fair for someone entering TREC (for example) to always place first and win both the prizes and the boatloads of points for simply making an entry because nobody else entered that discipline. This is why we require at least 10 entries in a discipline at the local level for the discipline to be available at the next levels. In accordance to that, during the Waldemar show which was the first ESEF show of the series, only dressage, show jumping and eventing would qualify for the next shows. People have a second chance with the Mayflowers show to represent and qualify their discipline for the next shows, but if they do not get 10 entries or more during that show, they will not be present at the next show in July. The ESEF shows are ESRPG affiliated and although you do not need to be registered within the ESRPG to enter the ESEF shows, they do give ESRPG points like every other affiliated show on this forum to horses and characters who are registered with the ESRPG. And to answer your last question, yes, there are two points systems. One which continue on endlessly (the ESRPG) and one which only pertain to the show series themselves as they track whether or not your horse qualifies for the next leg of the series. Those points are deleted at the end of the season. You do have to track the ESRPG points yourself, but you do not have to worry about the ESEF points. I keep a record of those myself to ensure that people who enter future shows do indeed qualify Hope that answers it. Let me know if some parts are still fuzzy or if you have any additional questions

Question both to Josie and all other members! I'm tempted to start competing in classical dressage - in real life it's not really a discipline, more like a method of working with with your horse using more traditional approach to dressage (with some elements of haute ecole, I believe). It's also associated more with shows that competing in real life. Now, if I decided to compete in this with some of my horses: 1) what field would it go in? I'm guessing probably Spanish? Or Performance? 2) would there be any interest in this discipline at all?

Haute ecole is only part of Classical dressage ( the most advanced figures), so could I write just simply Classical Dressage as discipline/class? And could it be entered with more costume/historical-like attire (as much as it’s possible with available CC)? (Also, as a side note, I’ve decided to take a break from competing until I finish my facilities and make final decisions regarding disciplines. So no pictures from me anytime soon )

How/where do we register our riders? I know there was a form before because I registered 1 rider, now I wanna register all of mine and check if that 1 rider is still registered.

You need to make a profile for each rider / horse you want registered in the ESRPG section of the forum here

I wondering about establishments! Could I have a stable that does breeding and competing? Or could I have a competing stable that breeds and sells horses on a lower scale?
