About Us
Carousel Horse Park is a family friendly barn located in Northern California with dark, gloomy weather and tall trees. Our attention is focused our small fleet of Dutch Warmbloods that trace directly back to the import from the KWPN committee. Our horses consist of breeding and show stallions, competing younglings, and a few broodmares and foals. Committed to the future and welfare of our horses, we chose to keep our numbers small. We compete in local, regional, and a few national shows with our jumpers and dressage horses. Please look forward to our progress!
History
Carousel Horse Park has a long history with a few name and owner changes. The old owner Bree Sherwood, inherited Marsielle's Imperial Equestrian Centre and was located in France. They moved to California, US a few years ago and brought most of their old staff and riders with them. Caught up in life, Bree Sherwood sold almost all of the original stock to start a new family and the riders moved to new barns. Lara Williams took up the job of keeping care of the remaining horses and renamed the facilities to give it a fresh start, Carousel Horse Park. She plans to keep it small and run it by herself, one more rider, and the workers.
What's To Come
Carousel Horse Park wishes to further enhance and promote the abilities of the old-style Dutch Warmblood.
