D/Z Imperiale
The Chimera *** Yes, what should I say? When new horses arrived at the equestrian farm nearby and had to be created for this place, the owner turned to me. She has a young stallion for whom there is now no room left. After all, the equestrian center otherwise consisted only of mares and geldings, who needed even pasture. To eat grazing land for a single stallion would be nonsense, she said. Besides, she wants to sell him because she could not promote him properly as he deserves. How it came? Of course, I picked him up, cleaned him decently and tried the bridle, which he had groped without problems. For the sale one needed just also enticing pictures. First he dances, so full of energy and the urge to move. This briefly threw me off track. Not because I did not manage with such stallions, but because my boys all had a quiet mind. Imperiale was so different and that was a bit unexpected at first. In the pasture, we watched him a bit, his owner and me. I even took a few pictures. Then she had the idea to cut his mane. With sadness in the eyes I watched, because he had really nice hair. After that I shot more pictures. In the evening I sat at the PC, went through it and picked out the best. I had to realize how much I liked the guy. His gears were top and his owner said he loves to fly over obstacles. You could train him in Show Jumping, in Dressage or in Eventin. In addition this color ... Damn ... I fell in love and yet I did not know if I should really buy it.

The Unicorn und the Shadhavar *** Some time ago, two students approached me. They went to the same university as me but were in other classes. They studied art and should work together on a project. They had thought for a long time. The girl liked horses and wanted to do something with them. The boy was less enthusiastic about the idea. Nevertheless, she prevailed and the two came to me, because they had learned that I had horses. The girl spoke enthusiastically. She wanted a unicorn and asked if I had a mold. That was so, but I also looked at the boy who just could not prevail. He did not like the idea. He found her corny. Besides, he was not exactly a horse lover. So I did not think long and told both of my idea what might appeal to both. It also suited the season and Halloween. Both of them were enthusiastic about my suggestion and we immediately went to work. After all, they had limited time to implement their project. We met more often in the next few days and prepared everything. I got the wrong hair, fake flowers and color that was not harmful. The artists took care of the scenery and the decoration. So we met in the late evening at the forest and I tied my boys to the trailer. She cleaned them thoroughly again, fixed the wrong hair and the flowers. Don had a sports mane and Imperiale a stubby. Something had to be done. The horns were easy to fix, the fake fangs made it for some time problems. Once everything was done, I led her into the forest. We had a part fenced. Don would not want to go far, even if he was afraid. But Imperiale was young and quickly nervous. I could not rate him that way yet. The pictures were done quickly. We were even lucky and met some animals. A deer with two deer cows. That was not planned, but made the picture more convincing. But it's certainly more interesting to know what I've come up with, right? Well, I was after a contrast. Something that could please the girl and the boy. There are so many things in the world that complement each other, like yin and yang. Day and night. Sun and rain. Bright and dark. Good and evil. Black and white. Nevertheless, I also wanted to emphasize the shades of gray, because not always something was as it seemed. A unicorn usually thinks of a white horse with a horn that is magical owns forces. Healing power, blood that makes immortal, the power to crack locks. It stood for beauty, elegance and courage. A good sign. A light in the darkest night. In films, it has always been the good guys who have gained the trust of these animals and led the battle with them. But I was also interested in the medieval Muslim version. The Shadhavar. For the most part, it was portrayed as a creature reminiscent of a mixture of camel, gazelle and horse - or unicorn. But unlike the unicorn we know, this creature was not friendly. On the contrary. It was called a murderer and it loved blood, even killed for pleasure. Meat meat and his horn looked more like a saber. I just wanted to underline the different ideas. Show what other cultures believed in. And that the appearance could deceive. I really liked the project and of course I also had prints of the pictures. How the idea of the students went? Apparently good. Details, I did not know. Anyway, I had a lot of fun and could even do something for Halloween. What do you think of this idea?

Back to the Roots
What can I say? For ages, I belong to the fans of Western horses and for a long time I worked only with them. Then the warmblooded animals came and also there I found enthusiasm. However, I missed something, my heart longed for the strong ponies and so it could not help but to find back to them. That is, some had to leave. Others stayed. Others came to the herd again. Fitzgerald, my young Trakehner, set off for my good friend Laura. There he would be better promoted and got the attention he deserves. Don? Well, the white Trakehner I had very close to the heart. I do not know yet if I would ever part with him. I will lease it for him, so that he can be further promoted. Stayed Imperiale, my chimera that is still so young and raw. And of course Ahiga, my Dunskin AQH. After all, I want to go back to western sports and my wonderful Stocks. Also found Whiskey again his way to me. D/Z Skellig Rocks Whiskey aka Whiskey you may still know. The little Chestnut is an American Quarter Horse stallion and I brought him as a 6 month old foal to me. For a while he stood on my coach's ranch, but now he's back with me! And who came to this new? Well, Toschi. D/Z N-tschochtschi aka Toschi is a Sorrel Appaloosa. The gelding is quite comfortable and prefers grazing rather than being trained. He is in reining and cutting. He likes to work with cows, so he's very focused. Then we have hobbit, in which I just fell in love. D/Z Watch me Nae Nae aka Hobbit is an American Paint Horse stallion and just like a whiskey once in the yearling age. Not only his descent and the curiosity to learn something new, but also his color convinced him. The sweetie is an Amber Champagne Overo and his drawing is just great. After settling in, I put all my canes together on a pasture for the first time. As soon as the halters were off, they turned off and ran. Ahiga, always the boss in the herds, had to realize that Toschi would not accept that easily. Already at the beginning he pushed Ahiga off and there were a few small clashes. However, it held in the frame and Toschi recognized Ahiga even as a boss. The two young stallions did not really care that much yet. The first expired galloping and jacking. Only then did they approach the elders. All in all, the merger was a complete success. So far I have been very lucky with my boys, since they got along with each other. If that stays that way, when Ouray, another newcomer, arrives here? Who knows. It is planned as well as that the sticks stay under itself and the warmblooded animals under it. But at some point spring would come and as soon as the nights get warm enough, everyone will come to the big paddock. I'm curious how it will be. But now ... what do you think of them? This afternoon I will take another picture of how they get together on the pasture. And of course there are also some pictures with information about them.
@freya -> Thank u so much <3

Happy Stocks!
As promised, I was back in the afternoon with the boys. First, to bring the warmbloods to the stable. On the other hand, to look after my western horses who are allowed to spend the nights outside before they have to go to the stable at night. As soon as I drove by the paddock, I could feel the relaxation that they emitted. But first I drove to the stable and mixed the food for Imperiale and Ouray, which I dumped in the troughs and then I ran outside to get them. Ajax, my four-legged companion, trotted beside me the whole time and barked excitedly to chase a bird off the straw bale. Grinning, I went to the pasture, whistled for the boys and carelessly pulled them over the halter. Even if they were scared, I was not worried. Far and wide, there were no roads, except the driveway. No houses or dangerous animals. No matter how fast or slow I found them, nothing would happen. Nevertheless, we reached the stable without incident and they went well into their boxes. Even Imperiale listened well. Apparently he has already consumed all his energy in the pasture. With relish, they chewed their food and I happily closed the stables. Filled a few buckets of water and put them on the back of the car before I got in and stopped at the pasture of my canes before heading home. The picture I got was great. Toschi and Ahiga leisurely grazed the green area while Whiskey and Hobbit were playing. Whiskey had always been a little cheek, but Hobbit did not like it. Chopped too. As always, the older guys seemed uninteresting to the yearlings. It would be better if they worked together. Which looked pretty funny, since they were still so obstructed. The longer necks, the not so round bellies, why the legs seemed a bit too long. And the rounded back. That would happen over time, as would the later training. With age, they would get a decent shape and build the necessary muscle. Until then, they may still be foals and behave accordingly. Satisfied, I filled the potions and when I stacked the pails back in the car, the four came closer. Smiling, I went to the pasture, all cuddled and had to accept the nibble of the yearlings, who probably liked my green scarf very much. Later, I drove home with a grin. If my babies are happy, of course I am too.

Details about Toschi. *** Name: D/Z N-tschotschi Barn Name: Toschi Breed: Appaloosa Horse Age: 9 y/o Sex: Gelding Colour: Chestnut Snowcap Pattern Genotype: ee Aa Lplp Height: 150cm (*'*") * Discipline: Cutting & Working Cow Horse * Sire: I'm a Legend Dam: Red Hook Kassalinda * Owner: Francesca Díaz *** Toschi is a very comfortable gelding. He prefers grazing in the meadow instead of moving. He usually gets along with everyone else, whether horse, pet or human. Even if he likes to test the leader in other horses at first. Even under the saddle, he likes to be lazy when it comes to rides or light training. Only when he works with cattle, he is fully in his element and enthusiastically shows what he can. Although Toschi is a very good gelding who accepts even inexperienced riders, he should be guided or driven on a lunge. For beginners or children he likes to be stubborn and shows his own head. Not by jacking, but just lazily stopping or walking comfortably, even though he's supposed to go up a gear. Cuddling is always and even loud and large crowds, such as at an event or a tournament, do not bring him from the rest.

Details über Whiskey. *** Name: D/Z Skellig Rocks Whiskey Barn Name: Whiskey Breed: American Quarter Horse Age: 1 3/4 y/o Sex: Stallion Colour: Chestnut (with Dapples) Genotype: ee Aa Height: /cm (*'*") * Discipline: Reining * Sire: Irish Whiskey Hero Dam: Rocks to the Water * Owner: Francesca Díaz *** Whiskey came to me as a foal and only spent time elsewhere to grow up with peers. Even then he was a pretty naughty guy and that did not change when he found his way back to me. He is still bold, whether he is opposite to others or people. He does not know his borders yet and therefore he can become harsh without wanting to. So far, he has not started with the big boys, but rather annoys his buddy hobbit. He is still allowed to misbehave, even if we practice often, for later. I just will not forget that he is still a baby and still has to learn.
Details über Hobbit. *** Name: D/Z Watch me Nae Nae Barn Name: Hobbit Breed: American Paint Horse Age: 1 1/2 y/o Sex: Stallion Colour: Amber Champagne Overo Genotype: Ee Aa nCh nO Height: /cm (*'*") * Discipline: Reining & Cutting * Sire: Watch me Babygirl Dam: It's your Nanny * Owner: Francesca Díaz *** Hobbit does not really deserve his name. Although still so young, he is already shooting high. But he just fit, because he is a bright and curious young stallion, playful and does not take training too seriously. Adequate training so that he can still be a foal. He gets used to new things quickly. He likes dogs, other horses and the new environment was not a problem. At first he showed no interest in Toschi and Ahiga, later he got acquainted with them carefully. Whiskey against it? He probably thought, with a peer, you can handle a bit harsher. Hobbit did not seem to mind, he returned the impudence. In that case, it's just as rough a diamond as Whiskey.

A wild Ride
Where should I start? The last days were a bit stressful. For one thing, it's normal, after all, it's time for Christmas. On the other hand, I have a little more to my ears than others. However, one by one. As for my horses? Everything is going wonderfully, more or less. The boys have a winter break, only light training is required. Most of the time, however, they are spending their time in the pastures. They get along, but there are a few minor friction issues. Ahiga, otherwise the boss in the herds, has to assert himself again and again, because Toschi is also quite dominant. Luckily, but also lazy, so he gives in quickly and rather seeks the last blades of grass. Whiskey and Hobbit often annoy each other, but more like brothers. Playful, not serious. Whiskey likes to play with the big guys. So the order is not yet in the group. It will take time for everyone to know their place. Private it works great. Nate and I have been a couple for more than a year and enjoy the time together. Since I have a lot to do with the university and the horses, we use every free second for each other. We were even back at the Christmas market, although Nate is not a fan of it. Of course I rewarded him for that! Haha. Well, there is still a lot to plan, as I would like to spend at least a few days in Spain with my family. Maybe not right on Christmas, because that's what I spend with Nate. But it still has to be between Christmas and New Year's Eve. The biggest surprise, however, had an old friend of Nate and me. Matt passed the days, visiting the stable. Nate had probably told him that I was there. However, the big transporter unsettled me. Why did Matt have this? Did he want to visit us for a while and bring some horses? That would have been unnecessary. Both Nate and I have enough that he could have lent one. The horse in the trailer was really an eye-catcher. A wonderfully powerful American Paint Horse stallion, a Sabino with Splash. Curious, he looked around as he followed Matt to me. As it turned out, the stallion was a Christmas present for me. I could not believe it. Not only because Matt could get hold of such a great guy, but that he made such an expensive gift to me. It moved me to tears. In the evening we sat comfortably together, talked, enjoyed the time together. It was so reflective. The next day I took more time for my new horse. He saw how he had settled in and decided to test him. When cleaning I took a lot of time, tried to get a feel for him. Watch his reactions while saddling and then lead him to one of the more remote paddocks. He should not be distracted by the others and the day was too good for the covered place. As soon as I sat on him, I first rode him warm. And then it went off. His gears were so light and springy. The gallop as if you were floating. Only when I really drove him, you could feel the hard touchdown. But it was worth it, because he really had a fire under his ass. Laughing, I enjoyed the cold wind on my face and was grateful to Matt for this guy. All I could say was this: Welcome to the family Apostolos LET! Clementine Laake -> Thank u so much <3
