Meet Luna Luna is a very um unique horse. As you can see she has a very unique coloration that we aren’t quite sure how she got. Luna was started as a three year old but then we had an incident where Crow jumped a few fences and 11 months later came Pixie. Luna’s training was a bit delayed because of this incident but now she is coming along great and Pixie is on of the most beautiful horses we have at the barn. Luna is a sweetheart but can be a little stubborn when it comes to riding. She really likes to hit poles when she trots over them and enjoys grooming her friends in the pasture.

Even though she is a little plain, I think she is stunning. Pixie is really sweet on the ground but isn’t pushy at all. She really doesn’t like to be alone and is kind of funny when you turn her out in a paddock that doesn’t have any grass. She is Luna’s first and only foal and she wasn’t exactly planned. We have started her with the saddle and as you can see it wasn’t what we expected. Pixie really enjoys eating grass and I wouldn’t be surprised if we had to get her a grass mask in the future.

Halo was rescued by Willow. along with another mare. She was abandoned at a mustang holding center a couple of towns over. We guess that her old owner thought that she would be better off there. She was not doing very well when they tried to integrate her with one of the herds. Her and the other mare left the herd and traveled to the nearest farm. It was obvious the two mares were not meant to be "wild horses". Willow was looking for some horses to teach lessons on and thought the two mares would be perfect! Willow adopted them and then had them vetted only to find out that Halo was pregnant. A couple of months later Saint was born. Saint was raised in a field with his mom and a couple of other mares. He was put out alone for a little while while we weaned him. Since we didnt have any colts his age for him to run with, we decided to send him to a neighboring farm to grow up a little. Now he is two years old and reunited with his mama. Halo is now in lesson horse training and Saint is growing up a little with our mustang Scooter. Saint and Halo really love to groom each other in the pasture and Halo really enjoys squealing and bucking when she is being barebacked.

Pumpkin is a pretty calm mare and has a kind of indifferent attitude. She is our english lesson horse and has started jumping x's. Her and Halo have kind of been on the back burner for a while because our lesson program isn't quite ready yet but we are excited for her to start! Pumpkin loves to run in the pasture and she loves to play in the round pen. (pumpkin isnt the most beautiful mare but her good attitude and willingness to please makes up for it.)

Tide has dabbled in the hunter and jumper worlds and it went very well. Willow decided to breed Tide last fall to a very famous eventer. We plan to breed her now in while she's an eight year old so we can eventually show her in eventing. To our surprise, Tide gave birth to twins! The pregnancy and actual birth went very well! Tide can be aggressive toward stallions and pretty food aggressive towards other horses in general. We were worried about her reaction to her foals eating with her but Tide is a great mother! Tide is very kind to people but has a habit of searching for treats in your pockets. Tide's favorite thing to do is to get long and low when trotting. Tides foals are growing like weeds! Meet Dice and Fiona (We call her Baby Spice)! (Dice is the bay colt and Baby is the chestnut filly)

She's definitely a spitfire and tends to act first think later (or not at all). She loves to buck, bite, kick, run, and give kisses. So even though she is a bit of a bully, she's also a sweetheart. Bambam is a young mare and we think she might mellow out as she ages but maybe not. She is a jumper in training and has a pretty strange coloration. She loves to fight other mares in the pasture and we think she likes the jump but who knows. .

Chai or MWE Down to a Tea is an all around western horse. She is more of a Reiner than a pleasure horse but she has a really good brain. She’s still a little young but now that we have a good western trainer here at MWE, we are excited to see her progress. This tiny quarter horse is bffs with our huge ISH Tide and acts like an aunt to the twins. She really likes to do cow work although we don’t do it often because we don’t have cows. She loves to graze and sleep in the pasture. After she has made a career for herself, we plan to breed her.

He is the most level headed youngster that we have ever had a MWE. He was purchased a little over 10 months ago and since then has really become a favorite amongst the staff. He is quite the gentleman and aims to please. We are showing him in some pretty high jumper classes and he’s been doing great. He and Crow seem to get on pretty well but mainly Av tends to just stare dreamily at the mares in the nearest pasture. Even though he is very calm and reserved, he can be quite the Romeo. He likes to keep to himself in the pasture and loves to play on the lunge line (he knows he’s allowed).

They even came from the same barn. We’ve had trouble keeping weight on her but we switched to a new feed and hopefully will see results soon. She is a dressage horse and we have never tried to do anything else with her. (Also look at that tail we need to fix that) She is a very calm mare and has a quiet personality. She HATES to be alone and tends to follow the other mares everywhere. We are currently working on her confidence in the ring since she tends to put herself in a shell.

She is currently semi-retired from a rewarding pony hunter career. She recently had her first foal and is now sitting around until we can put her into use. We are considering an off-property lease for her to a less experienced rider because she could teach a lot. Ruby is a total snob and likes to bite. She doesn’t like any horses or so we thought but she is head over heels for her baby and was probably the best mom we’ve ever had so we plan to breed her again. She likes to keep to herself in the pasture and doesn’t like to go when being ridden.

She is a calm gentle mare with a few confidence issues. She is older than most of our mares (14ish) and mostly babysits our young horses. Java came to us as a flat horse and with careful training has found the confidence to start jumping. She has such a good attitude that we plan to enter her in our lesson program when she is ready. She recently went to her first show and was a doll! Java is quiet in the pasture and I think she enjoys the other mares company. She loves to learn new things when being ridden and is always willing to please.

She has scope for days and an attitude to match. She has been in training for a short amount of time, but recently went to her first show and it was great! We still have a lot to work on when it comes to willingness to participate in her rides, but we have seen progress!! Her favorite thing to do in the pasture is goof off and race around and she loves to jump!

He is a typical warmblood baby that isn’t quite sure where to put his feet. He went and schooled at our latest show and was very good! In the pasture he loves to play but is very accident prone, which makes it hard to trust him outside for too long. His favorite thing is scratches and he likes to jump as well!
