ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Christina. From the moment I made my first horse on Equus-Sims, I’ve been in love with the Hanoverian breed. So much so, I used to run my own registry! But nowadays I’m more focused on building pedigrees and my legacy as a Hanoverian breeder. My original line began with a horse named LEC Call Me Casanova. 10+ years later, I’m still carrying on his bloodline and I’m super excited to use the ESBP to get people involved in my progress as I strive to create some of the best Hanoverians in the community!

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The LEC Hanoverian Breeding Program was founded in 2010. It began with our founding sire, LEC Call Me Casanova, who became one of the community's very first Hanoverian stallions (if not THE first). While Casanova excelled in the sport of Show Jumping, his true legacy came from his ability to produce top performers within the breed. While standing at stud, he sired over 30 direct descendants who went on to reach their highest potential in Dressage, Show Jumping, and Eventing. We're so proud to continue his legacy with his third generation descendent, Call Me Casanova III.

The LEC Hanoverian Breeding Program continues its legacy with Call Me Casanova III. Casanova is a 2017 Third Generation Hanoverian stallion by Call Me Casanova II, out of Genova BN, by Icarus BN, the notable show jumper belonging to industry veteran, Ryan O'Neil. Much like his grandsire, Cas has great work ethic, a commanding presence, and a flashy dark coat with a striking amount of chrome. He's currently competing at 1.2m under trainer and rider Ryan O'Neil at O'Neil Equestrian. PERSONALITY

Casanova is a spritely six year old stallion with a pep in his step, lots of energy, and an equal amount of confidence. Around the barn, he’s known for being a bit of a prankster. Gloves in your back pocket mysteriously go missing? Locks finding themselves…well, unlocked? Scrunchie get pulled out of your hair? It was Cas. He has just as big of a personality inside of the ring, too. He’s curious, obedient, and has a strong willingness to learn, but if you give him an inch, he’ll take a mile. As much as he loves to work, if you don’t stay on him, his laidback personality can mean he’s just as easily swayed by a fresh patch of grass, or by the crowds on the sidelines. We often joke he likes attention almost as much as his rider, Ryan O’Neil. If you ever stop by the barn, you can bet Casanova will be the first to stick his head out and say hello!
