Hello everyone! Welcome to Equus-Sims, I'm your admin, Christina. ๐๐
I've been playing The Sims since 2000, and became an active part of the online community during the Black Pearl Sims and Garden of Shadows era. Back then, I was better known as thevintagesim.
In 2010, I launched a blog called Equus-Sims, where I shared my equestrian content for The Sims 2, and eventually The Sims 3, when Pets was released. The blog grew into a forum, a "main site," and ultimately founded the equestrian sims community that we still have today, 10+ years going strong.
As a community member, I ran a stable called Rosenthal Stud, where I made lifelong friends, created characters that I'm still writing with to this day, and built a legacy around my Hanoverian stallion, LEC Call Me Casanova, whose lineage has made it to the fifth generation and beyond. Now, born from that origin story, my top Rosenthal competitor, Ryan O'Neil, owns his own jumper barn called O'Neil Equestrian, where he continues to build that legacy with LEC Call Me Casanova III.
In real life, I'm a writer and creative entrepreneur. I love to read books, play video games, make art, and, of course, write. Storytelling is one of my greatest passions and something I've always brought into Equus through roleplaying and providing opportunities for people to tap into their own imagination and bring their characters to life. I think that's why we're all here as simmers: to connect, share, and bond over the stories we're creating with our simsโI can't wait to hear yours. ๐
If you're interested in keeping up with my own stories, you can follow me on Tumblr or Simstagram, read my writing over on Substack, or enjoy my additional content on Patreon.
If you ever need anything, my DM's are always open here or on Discord. ๐
