Christina I know right? I wanted to be there too the day I made that picture! Germany is getting the hot temperatures right now and after all that cold its just hard to immediatly get the hot in your face! Its somehwo like we jumped over Spring xD first there was cold and snow in Spring and now all of a sudden there is sun and warmth! constantine Thank you very much! <3 I had my issues with that beach and grassy front combining, they dont really liked each other Nikki Thank! <3 danielle Yay for stocks! <3 Kayla Albright Thanks you! <3
The foals are here!
Pretty babies have been born! Four lillte fluffy balls are now roaming around the pastures happily with the four mothers. I am so excited to announce that they all made it safe and sound into their new world! So without further talking, just look at them fluffies! A flaxen chestnut minimal tovero APH colt. Out of Oakie Smart Lena, sired by CSR The Masked Lonestar. This little guy surprised us as he showed flaxen hair after his first week on the hooves. So apparently we can add a flaxen gene to both of his parents, Masky and Koda. This little colt for now goes by the nickname Star until we found a suiting showname, just because of his reversed star blaze. This colt is a bit shy and cautious, but on the same hand curiouse. Once he figured something isnt dangerouse it gets observed until he knows it 100%! A seal bucksin roan AQH filly. Out Of OCS Poco Lea Jet, sired by R66 Diamond In The Deep Blue.Dantes first foal turned out to be a stunning colored filly which left us puzzle about her color. Because of that dark colro we couldnt really tell if it was only a bay or possibly a buckskin, and the roaning on her made it even harder to find suitable prove for her color. A genetic test cleared all up. Therefore her nickname for now is Puzzle. Shes one heck of an energetic foal and always up for trouble, not letting her mother rest. She even chewed my favorite shirt until a hole was in it, damn it! A palomino tobiano APH colt. Out of Drovers Some Sparks D Luxe, sired by R66 Diamond In The Deep Blue. What a stunning colored little fella! He has such a light colored palomino coat that I would almost say its a cremello, though this is genetically not possible by this pairing. Someone called him 'noface' upon seeing him the first time. Compared to his mothers nickname 'Twoface' he has no markings at all in his face. Though we tend to call him Firecracker or just Cracker. If you ask why, then you should see him bucking and popping up into the sky on the pastures. Hes almost like a bunny, but way more long-legged and twisting around. A palomino AQH filly. Out of CSR Scarlett Catt, sired by R66 Diamond In The Deep Blue.I immediatly fell in love with her as I saw her face. This perfectly shaped Diamond on her forehead got me right away! Thats why I call her Gem or Gemmy. Shes always up for cuddles and had no fear of human. Probably because Catt trusts me completely and helped her filly getting closer to us. Catt pushed her to get in contact with everything new that wasnt dangerouse and protected and hid her foal as soon as strangers came up to our Ranch or watched them.
I know at first it was planned that Catts and either Kodas or Blackys foal will get sold, but the whole team just got way to attached by the first Dante offspring that we decided to keep all four. Still though they will be getting sold in the 'far' future, after training, competing or other plans with them, but first we really want to enjoy the full foal crop without having to think of selling them sooner or later. WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE? AND WHY?

Nikki Oh yeah they are <3 Chillin' In The Sun!
All four babies chilling out in the afternoon sun. While Catt was watching me the hole time, standing right behind me so I dont hurt anyone in this kindergarden. I just made this picture because I want to announce their full registration names they will be going by. They will keep their barnnames as seen above though, because they are just perfectly fitting.
So lets go!
Starting off with Star, the flaxen chestnut tovero colt. OCS Smart N' Shining. I guess that name is clear by itself, hes just some smart guy with a shiny coat. Very shy, but also very very smart. Next up, Gemmy, the palomino filly. Her diamond shaped headmarking made me want to call her something with Diamond in her name, also coming from her dad. And I read a little bit about yellow diamonds because she has such a nice golden/yellowish coat. I figured out that Yellow Diamonds are also called 'Canary Diamonds'. So thats her now, OCS Canary Diamond! And Puzzle, seal buckskin roan filly. OCS Ebony And Ivory is her full name now. Her coat color is just such a mixture of dark 'ebony' colors with her roaning being the 'ivory' on her. And it resembles her character aswell pretty good. She can be an angel and look all nice and sweet, white and innocent. But dont turn your back on her or leave her alone with stuff, the black devil shows up and chewes everything to bits that her mouth can grab. And if not there are always walls to be found to kick at or fences to tackle. She's a beast! And at least, Firecracker, the palomino tobiano colt. He really made me think a while on his final name. But I came to the conclusion calling him OCS A Shingle Spark. The Spark is obviously from his mothers name. And I really had to think about that 'shingle' in his name. I wanted a connection to his dads name aswell, who has the 'deep blue' sea in it. Though Cracker is everything but deep, dark or blue. So I went up on the shorelines and looked for fitting words. I came across shingle, thats wat pebble beaches are called also. So that was fitting, and if you take the 'h' out of that word you have single. So this colt is a single big spark in the world! I have a slight dejavu to last year april, where I had four foals too. The Drovers babies with Twoface in them. But I just had to do a similar picture! <3 See what I mean? xD

I love all the babiessss! I gotta be honest, I'm torn between Firecracker and Gemmy. I love Tobianos, but Genny looks just like what I considered my "heart horse," who was a Palomino AQH with the same coat shade and same little star!

WELCOME ADA AND THEODORE!Today I had the honor to give two new members of OCS their first riding lessons on their assigned horses. Let me introduce you to Ada and Theodore Speer! Sister and Brother who just recently applied as stablehands 'with will to improve and work for OCS'.
For 17 year old Theodore it was his first ever time sitting on a horse, but this little fella is really determined to get good in what hes doing there! He seems very smart and always asks me to correct him immediatly if I see something wrong. While he is a first-time rider his sister Ada already had riding lessons as a young child and I had the feeling they were confident enough to ride on their own. And I was right, Ada has a good hand with horses and knows what they are doing, I probably will be able to let them ride and train on their own after a few more lessons.
Man this is irritating, never had someone nonbinary on a riding lesson or any other conversation. I already had a little talk with them about the reasons and feeling behind it and I have to say that its quite interessting to hear about. Sure not everybody entirely feels female or male, they just feel somwhere in the middle as Ada told me. Like, she told me she knows she is biologically a female human, but from expectations and society roles they just dont like to live up to the 'woman' role, but they're not male either, thats how they feel about it.
But without further talk from myself, let them just introduce themselves to you!
'Ello! My name is Ada! I am a human being, 21 years old, preferring they/them as pronouns, but I wont be mad if you 'she' me. I really loved horses my whole life now but havent had many chances to go riding myself. I've had allergies to everything fur-having creature, including horses. I had some riding lessons starting as I was 5 years old, rode for about 5 years with the constant companionship of my swolen throat, itchy skin and red eyes afterwards. But it was worth it and one of my most loved childhood memories! Puperty hit and I decided it was way to exhausting and unnecessary to go though that pain just for a few riding lessons. I focussed on school and my future, but just 4 years ago I figured I miss horses so damn much, that I overcome my fear of needles and got a desensitization. I am not completely horse-allergy free, but I am super happy that I can ride with just a bit red eyes and only minor breathing issues. So I was on the hunt for a job close to horses. Thats when I started here at OCS. I am mainly a stablehand atm and get frequent riding lessons, but I want to compete as soon as I am ready! ~ Basically the person behind OCS in a nutshell. I wanted to have myself in this!
Hi, it's Theo here! I am the younger brother of Ada, 17 years old. I really love animals, not specifically horses, but animals in general and everything around them. I strive to become a veterinatian and I am determined to learn as hard as I have to to accomplish my goal. When my sister told me about their plans to get riding lessons at a nearby Ranch called OtterCreekStables, I asked them if they would take me with them as I kinda got into the idea of learning how to ride. Despite I probably could specialize in horse veterinary later and work for them, maybe. Yes, I overplan my future, but better have a plan than go in blind and fail, haha! I might be skinny and joke way to much, but I try t always give my best and my first riding lessons went pretty well already, a little slow, but just okay, Mathew says. ~ Always give 110%! (Nope, I dont have a smaller brother IRL)
And just for the evening I got a beautiful shot of Viktor and Dante on their pasture hack! At first I wanted to insist that Dante was only ridden by me, but just seeing how well Viktor goes with him got me convinced that he shall be his rider. And they look amazing together, dont you think?

Nikki Yas! After all these foal and introduction pictures to update my website I really wanted to get some riding pictures, and it was fitting to introduce these two Oh boy!
I tried getting a picture of Cracker popcorning around for the last few days, but always if I had a camera with me he acted like nothing happened and he is just being a nice cute colt. But at yesterdays training I was lucky and got a shot! He was running around me and Twoface walking and distrackted his mother pretty hard. And after he dared to kick in our direction I started chasing him with Twoface around the place until he panted exhaustingly. He is quite a handful of work, but after that I was able to give Twoface a small workout before getting her back into the herd.
