OOC - Here is the first of (hopefully) many new album posts. In case you haven't heard, ariadne has started an RP in a lovely little town called Pemberton. I've been gearing up to take pictures for the RP and plan to share some extra shots here in my new album. I hope you'll enjoy them!

The day had started in a perfectly lazy way. Beneath a heaping of white down blankets, Ryan and Aria had spent their first hour just talking about the town, tomorrow's hunt, where to go for breakfast, and other wonderfully simple things. They'd laughed, dozed off (Ryan), and even playfully bickered over baby things (namely, Ryan got a kick out of torturing Aria by pressing the idea that the nursery walls should be orange.)

Eventually, though, the sun crept through the thin curtains of their hotel room (for the first time since they'd arrived in Pemberton) and beckoned them out into the crisp autumn air. Their walk through the town center included a short stop at B&B cafe for pastries–because someone had another craving for a blondie (with almonds)–and a visit to Keeler's bookstore, where Ryan flipped through every bestselling mystery novel he came to and still managed to walk out empty-handed.

The crowds on Main Street dispersed the closer they got to the park, and soon they traded their paved sidewalk for a dirt trail. Ryan popped the lid off his coffee and blew on the steam as Aria studied the map that was posted by the trail head sign.

“I think all the trails lead to the same lake,” he said, grinning, “You worried I’ll get us lost?”

“I know you, O’Neil,” She said, returning his smile with a hint of mischief to her tone, “I know that’s exactly what you’ll be trying to do.”

OOC - ariadne ugh, dude, I've had so much fun with it. It's been a really nice launchpad for sharing my (and Gemma's) writing. I wouldn't have been able to do it without all the thought and effort you put into Pemberton, though! I'm hoping I captured it correctly here in this short piece. Til next time!

OOC - Working on some surfing poses for Ryan. His idea of a long weekend is heading down to Palm Beach to catch the waves at Reef Road. He doesn't get travel much these days, though.
