Our Staff
Rena Cort - Owner, rider, trainer and manager of the estate. She began riding hunters as a young girl and had dreams of making it to the MaClay's. Although she never made it that far in her youth she has more than proved her abilities competing as an adult. Now she has converted the estate into a facility that can host her own competition team as well as help others in their pursuit of the competition circuit.
Joseph Cort - Co-owner and rider of CE. A former art student from Cincinnati he decided to leave college behind to help Rena revive the estate. After being a groom for a few years he decided he wanted to try his hand at it and has become a successful rider.
Camille O'Connor - Full time trainer at the estate. Camille has a hand at keeping the competition horses fit and helping our riders to keep their skills sharp. She is also to thank for our newly acquired lesson program, as she wanted to expand her clientele to a broader range of individuals and disciplines.
Alexander Verway - Our newest rider on the team. Xander first visited the states on a family trip he liked the horse country so much, he decided to go to equine college in Louisville before joining the CE team, moving to the states for the foreseeable future.
Micha Kowen - As show manager, Micha plans the yearly show schedule, which is more difficult than it sounds. She makes sure on ones events conflict and if they happen to, she makes sure those showing those days have all the correct documents and personal to go with them. When she is not working with the show team she can often be found schooling horses. She's not the biggest on showing so she often opts to work behind the scenes as a groom.
