Here I'll be posting the everyday life on the Whispering Meadows Ranch in the eyes of Jenni. The stables are currently still under construction but once everything's all done and dandy I will start posting from the actual Ranch, with proper introductions to horses and staff and whatnot.
So you can look forward to that

I took this picture this morning. Just lok at all those hungry hungry horseys ^^ Can you spot my Harley?
Anyways, those are, with two exceptions, the school horses of WMR. I would've loved to introduce them all to you, but those guys were hungry and there was still more to do.
This is Felix, another stable hand, and he was not very amused about me not working which is why I'm posting only now, but it's always horses first.
(omg this is so bad xD but eh)
Also it rained all day so I couldn't even get some pretty pictures from the horses on the pastures. I'm hoping for better weather tomorrow and maybe a little less grumpy co-worker so I can upload some horse pictures
Anyways, that's it from me, see y'all later

Unfortunately it hasn't stopped raining, so still no luck on proper horse pics. I do have one of some horses playing on their pasture though that was just too cute not to share >w<
That's my mare Harley playing with her best friend Maggie. The other skewbald here is Chex, wondering what the girls are doing and the black in the back (hehe) is Lee, not having a care in the world ^^
A quick info: the Whispering Meadows Ranch breeds their own Paint and Quarter horses and trains them for events, but some of them can just chill in their western riding school. I heard rumors of a webside being worked on where y'all can read about all this and get information about the Ranch, the horses etc. I'll keep you updated on that matter

Here I am again This time with great news: our facilities are almost finished. The only thing missing is the stallion's stable and pastures. Our stallions stay with the geldings until they can finally move into their own stable.
But speaking of stallions......
(my editing skills=0) These two pretty boys are the last two that were still missing in our foundation team, WMR Smooth Criminal (the roan) and WMR Whiz In A Fire (the paint). They are both three years old, so they're the youngest in our little herd, just starting their training to become great performers. And today I had to chase them around our brand new indoor arena because it's been raining all day, it's even started storming an hour ago. Well, that's what you get for building your barn at the coast.
But at least I was able to get some nice pictures of the two ^^
Here's another one that I really like. I love Whiz, especially his blue eyes and just look at that hunk of a horse Smooth Criminal, we call him Mike. It looks like there's some kind of draft bred into him, but there isn't.
I can't wait to see them when they're finished uwu

So, the Spring Jubilee Discipline Show ends today in a week and we finally got all entries in!! Yay
Let's get into it then, shall we?
The first one to enter was Markus. I've rarely seen him ride, at least not like this, but he and Missy did a really good job!
Of course I started with my own horse Harley! Stephan told me that she is one of the ranch's best reining horses and he would've never sold her if I hadn't been working for them for such a long time. Thank you so much Stephan!!! >3<
And the last entry in our reining team this time: Katarina and Maggie! I just love this mare, ever since she was a foal. Maybe I'll be riding her in the next show, depending on Stephan's desicion on which mares we'll breed with.
Of course Felix started with his dear Lee. It's so much fun just to watch them go through the trail course! We have one on our ranch as well, I should try it some time...
Felix' sister Lucida also started with her favourite horse Donna. Watching them together really is a pleasure. I'm so funny. Luci may be a bit rough when you first meet her, but her heart beats for horses ^^
And last but not least: The incredible Zombie!!!! And also Christian. I never really get what's going on in a horses' head during cutting, but watching this discipline is absolutely incredible! Much respect to Christian and any other cutting rider, I could never do that!
That was all our entries. We all had a lot of fun participating and also seeing all the other people who joined the show. Thanks Kayla Albright for hosting even though it's still ongoing for another week ;P
