OCTOBER FOALCROP Three foals was just born at Kilborn Riding Center. It's kind of amazing that they didn't all turn out Bay, as last time we had foals we got four Bay foals xD But this time we "only" got two of them. One is a Bay Roan and one will eventually grey out, so that one really doesn't count AND special thanks to @isaiah-Pace for letting me borrow two of her stallions <3
Kilborn's Top Form is the third generation of Bay Roan (EE Aa Rr) colts, before him we see his dad Kilborn's Top Gear and his grandfather Kilborn's Top Notch. He is Kilborn's Dior's first offspring, but she is really taking good care of him. He is a Dutch Warmblood. Kilborn's Sheriff Swan is the second offspring after Kilborn's Deputy Flyer, first filly. From her dad she has Thoroughbred-blood, but is a Dutch Warmblood. She is a Seal Bay (Ee Aa Gg), but has been tested, and will eventually grey out, just like her dad. Which is kind of sad, as her coat is sooo beautiful now. Kilborn's Ostrogoth, called Goth, is the first Tobiano offspring at Kilborn Riding Center ever! He is a Black Tobiano (EE aa nT) colt of the breed Dutch Warmblood. He is very frisky, but doesn't like playing with the other foals that much. He favor screwing with his mother, Kilborn's Carrica.
You can say the mares was tired after showing of their offsprings!

NEW HORSEWe got a new horse at the stable. And the part of the stable called Dead End. It's a westernbarn run by Eva Evans and her siblings, Evano Evans and Lana Evans. His name is SME Happy Endings, called Happy, but hasn't been in hands much, so right now he is on the open stall, and maybe he will let us touch him soon. I really do hope so, bc he seems like such a cutie! He is a Mongolian Horse, and not that used to the warm temperatures, but as the stable will soon be moving to a colder area, in England, and I'm sure he will fit in better

UPDATE: Hiatus I'm REALLY looking forward to show more of my horses to you guys, but I'm pretty sure it won't be before December as I am entering a writing "competition"/challenge in November called #NANOWRIMO. And I am taking hiatus bc the challenge is gonna need all my attention, and gonna take all my time, as I have to write 50000 words in that month I hope you guys are all well out there, and maybe I will post a picture or too, but my focus is on the novel I'm gonna write. It's called Mind Enclosed, and I would like to tell you about it, but I'm not sure this is the place. And I'm not sure any of you wanna hear anyway. So... see ya!

THE FIRST NEW FACE The first new face at the stable, when we had moved from USA, was this lady. Yet another Mongolian Horse, this one called Kilborn's Coconut, Coco. She is one of a few spotted Mongolian Horses, we were told, when we bought her. But later on we discovered that it was actually quite normal for the breed. She hasn't been much in hands, but we were able to put on a halter, before releasing her into the open stall.

CRAZY BOYS You remember the new horse I got the other day? SW Chamane? He has just been paired with my other boys. But he doesn't really seem to like Kilborn's Calimo. The boys has been bitching all day, Calimo trying to eat Chamane's halter. And then there is Kilborn's Top Gear. Just playing on his own. Doing whatever he wants to lol

SCOTT IS LOOSE! One minute Scott (read: Kilborn's Scotch N' Soda) was just standing there all sugar and spice and everything nice, then next she was just gone! Lana was grooming her, and turned her back to her for a minute while looking for her tack in the tackroom, and then she wasn't at the grooming place anymore! Turns out she somehow got out of the ropes (very nice rainbowropes I have bought, I might add!), and ran to the nearest place with hay and started eating like a maniac. She is soooo crazy!

THE RACE IN TRIPPER'S HEAD Eva and Lana and I (Regina) was out on a little ride around the area of where the Mongolian Barn is located. Eva was riding SME Happy Endings, Lana Kilborn's Tripper and I Kilborn's Scotch N' Soda. It was a very nice ride, and we also got to see a little of a nearby waterfall! That was amazing. We was on our way trotting home, as I decided to take a picture. But at the same moment Tripper decided to be a brat and started galloping, and constantly trying to rule the race (that only excisted in Trippers head, bc Happy didn't give a flying shit about him acting up xD). And Lana had a little trouble with calming him down afterwards. He need some more training, apparently. (I know the grass looks like crap xD)

GROWING This is Kilborn's Ostrogoth, called Goth. He has just grown to one year, that little fellow, and he is only getting cuter and cuter! I just realized, never saw that before, that the black spot in his headmarking looks like a heart. How cute is that even?

THREE GENERATIONS At this picture you can see three generations of "Top"-horses. Understood in this way: They all have "Top" in their names. From the left we have Kilborn's Top Notch (Bay Roan Tobiano), Kilborn's Top Form (the foal) and Kilborn's Top Gear. They are sons of each other. Top Gear is the first son of Top Notch, and Top Form is the first son of Top Gear. But even if they look a lot alike (they are all Bay Roan afterall), they are very different horses with very different personalities. Top Notch is the oldest and very calm. He is always very motivated and honest in his way to act. Top Gear is quite easygoing too, but has a strong opinion about everything. He can be pretty hard to ride, if you don't know what you are doing. And then there is Top Form. He is such a little pig, and he is very naughty and always makes trouble whereever he goes.

THE GIRLS This is the all the mares (except Kilborn's Making Cinnamon) that I currently have. From left to right it's: Kilborn's Sheriff Swan (ok, she is technically a filly, but ignore that), Kilborn's Dior and Kilborn's Arabella. These are my girls, and Dior is my clear favorite, mostly because grey horses are amazing! But I'm looking forward to see what Sheriff Swan will look like, when she grows up. She is a second generation foal, so I'm also looking forward to her replacing Kilborn's Arabella as a breeding mare, when she grows up.

NERVES Today, when Bellatrix took out Red from her stall, the mare was acting weird. She was all stiff and didn't walk well. One how her legs was very warm and swollen, and nobody really knew why. She also did a shaking of the skin on her back, so Idina looked at her. Idina is one of our riders, but also knows a lot about massage (she is educated in it). Anyway, so she took a look on the back. Showed to be a pinched nerve, and Idina quickly got it in the right place again. But the leg was still swollen, of course, and Red would be led to the pasture today. She had to stay in her stall. If it's not better by tomorrow, we will call the vet!

SHEEP! Today Lana and Mae was out on a ride in the area. And they met sheeps! Kilborn's Scotch N' Soda was really interested in them, and wanted to sniff one of them. They let her, as the sheeps was apparently pretty used to horses. Such cuties! Scott just stood there watching them. Very interested in being close to those strange creatures. Kilborn's Coconut though wasn't interested in saying hello to the whollen thingies. She just stood there as far away as possible, and Lana got kind of embarassed that she couldn't get the horse to say hello to the sheep xD

PORTRAIT PICTURES (Bc of problems with my picture-host, pictures will not be here right now, but they will come up as soon as possible!) Today I was out at the barns to take some new pictures for our website. Pictures of the horses of course, as they are our main attraction. First up was Kilborn's Dior, sired by our own Kilborn's Ziano. She is such an amazing little lady. Ok she is not small at all with a height of 175 centimeters. But she is a real sweety, just standing inside the barn with Bellatrix. What let up to this picture is not so innocent though, as Dior actually ran away from Bella, and this is a picture taken when Bella caught the mare xD Next one up for pictures was our third-generation of Top-horses (From Kilborn's Top Notch to Kilborn's Top Gear to:) Kilborn's Top Form. He really didn't wanna stand still for the time being, as I was taking pictures, so impatient as he is he started to rear up, while Thomas was just standing there holding the rope like a PRO

SHE IS BETTER
You remember when I talked about ES Rodheatte earlier on right? She was sore in her back, and her leg was swollen and hurting. But today she was feeling a lot better. No swolleness, no hurt. She had been outside in the pasture for a few days, just resting, and Idina had today taken her out for a little ride. They were both having a good time, and Red wasn't swollen or hurting or anything after they ride. I think she is getting better, and she will need some re-training to get back to what she was before the swollen leg.

THE ST. CLAIRE CITY CLASSIC The next horse up is SW Chamane! A 5-years-old Dutch Warmblood stallion with a heart of gold, burried very deep sometimes. He is with the only rider he accepts: Thomas Corbett, the only human who can handle this mighty stallion. This is Chamanes first competition at Equus-Sims, but he has competed lots and lots on Equus Community too! As the commentator calls in the next horse, Kilborn's Acorn is ready! The chestnut stallion is cantering into the arena in full speed, his rider Amelia Lee-Taylor having a hard time controlling him. He is whineeing loudly, running towards the first obstacle. Can he do this? Can they do this? Together? As a team? "Wait what is that?" The commentator said, cleaning his glasses while looking at the horse coming into the arena. He put on his glasses again, looking at the horse mumbling: "What a special colour!" The horse in the arena was of course Kilborn's Walliyullah ridden by Lana Evans. An Arabian stallion in the colour of Chestnut (with flax) Sabino. Even if Kilborn's Arabella is an experienced horse she can sometimes get spooked in the arena. That's of course what happened today with Arabella rearing up and not wanting to do the obstacle. But she got over herself and jumped in the end anyway.
