ADULTS ARE JUST OUTDATED CHILDREN And that's very true. They say you can tell that a man is old, when I walk over the puddle instead of walking through it. ANYHOW! We got a lot of new faces at the stable. Five new ponies to be exact, but I will not be showing them all today, as it is five new faces and that's quite a lot to show in just one go. Hence why I am almost showing them off one by one. First one up is Kilborn's Red Hot Chilipepper, a mare with a lot of personality. She is a true hot-head, but it's nothing our new rider Tiana Jensen can't handle. As you can see Tiana is only a child, but we had to find some young riders, as our five new ponies are all Shetlandsponies, so we got to the local riding school and found two brave, young riders to handle the ponies - Tiana Jensen was one of them. The other one is Rupert Smith. He is around 12 years old, and a great judge of character in horses and humans too. He is good at handling the younger horses, as he has a much calmer attitude than Tiana; she is better with the hot-headed horses. That's why he is handling our young, raw Perlino-stallion Kilborn's Cream Puff, at this picture. He is really good with the young stallion, who has tried nothing but living wild with other stallions and some geldings too. He has not been handled a lot, and was a big challenge to work with, to begin with. But once Rupert had gained his trust, he was really great to work with.

JUNE FOALCROP! A little happy mare, named, after Kilborn's Cream Puff (a Perlino stallion) and Kilborn's Red Flare (a Red Dun mare). She herself is a Dunalino (ee aa nCr Dd). She is very sweet but a little shy. Doesn't like to get too fare away from her mom. Scared of some stuff, but is getting a lot better. She likes cats though. Applause is a sneaky little bastard. She sneaks in everywhere she can fit, and sometimes we can't even find her, because she is lost somewhere. But luckily her mother, Kilborn's Amona, can always find her. We just say 'find appy' to her, and she will find Applause. She is a Chestnut Splash (ee aa Gg nSpl), but because her dad Kilborn's Gammelsmoelf is a grey, we decided to test her for it, and it says that she is a grey too. So eventually she will grey out, at some point at least, which is a little sad, as her colour is kind of amazing. When handling he is very nice, there is of course the hormones, but he get better at ignoring the mares, as he sees them every day. He can be touched everywhere, as good with the blacksmith, and loves going on rides (not ridden of course) with his mom, Kilborn's Red Hot Chilipepper. He really likes dogs, and has no problems with other stallions nor geldings. He is a Chestnut Tobiano with Flax (ee Aa nZ nT).
REPLIESPaige Price: Thank you, he is such a cutie pie!

YOU KNOW... (OOG) ... I just can't stop making or breeding horses, so here we go again! The horse up is Kilborn's Ziano, a Swedish Warmblood stallion, with some thoroughbred blood in him (his dad is actually the same as Kilborn's Agent Eighty Six's dad). He is a grey and has until now only made grey offsprings, God must know why, but I guess it has something to do with his genes - that's usually the explanation. Anyhow, the new horse was made and add'ed to my team. Our only dressage-only horse, which is gonna be interesting, as I always get bored with taking dressage pictures, lol xD

INVOLVE ME AND I LEARN Today was very grey outside, but that couldn't prevent me from riding out. I was riding my girl Bella (read: Kilborn's Arabella), and as Gary (read: Kilborn's Top Gear) wouldn't stay inside his/their stall I had to take him with me. So I did. But as one of the other riders was using the arena, I couldn't just let Gary run free. So I put on a long rope, connected it to his halter and then just started training. Some might think that it can't work out with riding the mother and leading the son at the same time, but I have done a lot of 'in rope'-training with Gary, and he actually did really well. We couldn't canter though, as he tried to race his mother, but he could do trot and walk. Another person in the arena was Thomas. He was lounging the stallion Ricky (read: Kilborn's Maverick Merlot) at the arena, but was finished not long after I began. But here is a picture taken by Emma Corbett, as she visited this part of the stable.

THE THREE MUSKETEERS I just got three new horses (yes you heard right, I suck at not making new horses, sorry)! The first one is a stallion named (Kilborn's) Calimo. He is a hanoverian and a show jumper. He is pretty great, if I say it myself, and I really like his colour! The next one is a 2 years old filly/mare. Her name is (Kilborn's) Dior, and her mother is @irene_Duarte's mare Aehrenthal's Witchduck, and her father is the next horse on the list. Now you might ask. Why buying the dad of a mare you wanna own? Because he is so beautiful that is. I couldn't not buy him, lol. Anyhow, she is a Hanoverian, in the colour of Rose Grey, and hopefully a show jumper, when she grows up. The next horse is Dior's dad, (Kilborn's) Ziano! He is a Swedish Warmblood, and very beautiful. I am such a sucker for greys, so here is another, lol. I can help myself, so yes, he is a grey. I actually wanted a white-looking horse, but I fell for this guy and ended up taking him home with me.

FIRST PICTURE: Okay! We have new foals this month! First one up is Kilborn's Taylor's Girl's offspring with Kilborn's Agent Eighty Six. The offspring's name is Kilborn's Agent Cassidy. His colour is bay (Ee Aa) and he is a colt. He is trained from the ground and can't get his hooves cleaned with no problem. He is a little aggressive when he wants something, but just need more training. SECOND PICTURE: The next offspring is the lovechild of Kilborn's Deputy Flyer and Kilborn's Making Rainbows. Offspring's name is Kilborn's Making Cinnamon, and it's a filly. Her colour is bay (EE Aa) too. She is very human-related and cuddly, even though she can be a little shy with strangers. She examines everything and is curious. She is good with stalls and has no problem with being in a trailer either. THIRD PICTURE: Offspring out of Kilborn's Ziano and Kilborn's Carrica. His name is Kilborn's Fuerstano, and he is a Bay (grey, EE Aa Gg) Dutch Warmblood colt. Has very elastic, springy movements. Elegant, petite head, coupled with friendly charisma, is a noble horse of special kindness. FOURTH PICTURE: Kilborn's Tango is a cute little mare. She is out of sire Kilborn's Calimo and dam KIlborn's Arabella. She is a bay (Ee AA) Hanoverian filly, who isn't really an eye-catcher as she is just an 'ordinary' bay, but what she lack in colour, she has in personality! She is very friendly and easily handled.

LITTLE DIOR Guess who is looking all grown up now! Yes, this is little Dior (see her as a youngster here) and she is now 3 years old and ready for trying to be ridden. I was out on her back today, trying her out and figuring out what she would say to have a human on her back and not just by her side. It's fun, because she was sooo calm and all, and was ok with me sitting up there. The tack she has been use to for a little while now, so that wasn't really something new for her.

AUGUST FOALCROP Kilborn's Raindrops on Roses, called Rose, is a young Dutch Warmblood Filly, in the colour of Bay (Ee AA). She has an incredible presence and energy level that will make her a very good horse, when broken in and ridden. She just needs practise really. She is curious, but without ever being intrusive or naughty. Intelligence is a quality in her, she learns very fast and has long legs. A perfect horse for show jumping in the future. Kilborn's Crying Dutchmann, in everyday life called Dudley, is a beautiful Dutch Warmblood colt in a Black (EE aa) colour with a thin, white headmarking and one sock. He is truly gorgeous and has great gaits, especially his trot is very good. His half-brother has lots of points in Show Jumping (on his mother's side) and has just gotten his first titel! He would be a great and powerful show jumper, maybe even excelling in eventing or dressage too. Kilborn's Zirocco is a Dutch Warmblood colt, with a beautiful Bay (Grey, EE AA Gg) coat, that will eventually grey out like his dad, Kilborn's Ziano. He has vitilgo, which gives him a very weird headmarking. He has really springy gaits, especially his trot is very good. He might be a good dressage horse, like his dad, but he could also take after his mother, Kilborn's Arabella, and do well in Show Jumping. He might even be a good eventing horse! Kilborn's Carlisle takes after his mother, ES Rodheatte, and will eventually become a great eventer. He somehow came out all Black (EE aa) which is a little weird, as both his father and his mother has spots. Not that it matter though, as he is well build and has a good head. He is a Knabstrup Sports Horse Colt.

YEARLINGS My Thoroughbred-babies has grown into the mature age of 2! Yearlings with a lot of energy, I mean Smile can barely hold both of them, as they always wanna go in different directions. Good thing they could stand still for 2 seconds, so I could take the picture! So say welcome to two yearlings from my own breed: Kilborn's Making Cinnamon (left) and Kilborn's Agent Cassidy (right). Somehow Cassidy has grown taller than Cinnamon. When the where only foals Cinnamon was always the tallest and the roughest. Now Cassidy is taking charge and is the decider. (Oh! And I'm so sorry for being so inactive! I have been really busy with my new job, that I don't do anymore as it made me stressed and depressed, and other stuff. My PC has been acting up like crazy, but I guess it works now. Just cleaned out some bad CC, and everything is working, so I'm back now!)

YET ANOTHER SHOW So I send two of my horses of to a horse show in dressage! The horses are Kilborn's Top Notch, father of Kilborn's Top Gear, and Kilborn's Calimo. I'm really looking forward to see how they will do, hopefully they will do really well (but well... my pictures aren't that good yet, sadly. So I don't think I will win or even get placed)

GROWING UP Top Gear is really growing into his body! He looks damn great, and his colour is to die for (I would say). Today I was out riding him without a saddle, and he was just sooo calm! He is such a good horse, even though he is only 4 years old. I will soon post more pictures of him, bc I took a bunch of them!
