Yasmin Ellis
Yasmin is the founder and owner of Moon Island Stables. Her parents left her an enormous amount of land and a decent sum of money when they sadly passed away in an accident at a too young age. Yasmin, who was just about to set of to college was very distraught by her parents' sudden passing. She put her plans to take a business course on hold and holed herself up in the tiny vacation home her parents had built in a far off corner of their property.
She spent her days browsing the web, and lost most of her friends by staying out of contact with them. Then one day a plea for help on the web caught her attention. A circus had to be shut down and they were still looking for a home for the last of their zebras.
Yasmin had never had special feelings towards animals, but somehow she could not ignore the message. She had all this land and this animal was in desperate need of a home, so a few e-mails later Yasmin welcomed Zita on to her property.
Zita
Zita was in tip top shape, she had obviously been treated very well in the circus. She was tame and Yasmin started to learn about taking care of equines. She especially loved brushing Zita and just spending time together while she grazed.
Yasmin decided the time had come to get back to her original plans of getting a business degree and starting a real business that revolved around keeping horses. While she was away at university she had a small stable and house built on her property so she would have room for more equines once she got back.
