{ T A N N I C H T } » quality sporthorses since 2013 ······· It all started out as a mission back in 2013. A mission that is closely bonded with an exceptional stallion that took us where we are now: Herbstgewitter nicknamed Bubble. Late 2013 Redcliff's Shores, are stable in development with no clear focus or goal, stumbled across the lanky, miss-built stallion and somehow fell in love with him. Not so much with his looks but his mind and his big heart. With big plans for a dressage career for him in mind it soon was cristal clear that his main talent was found in Eventing. Registered, ready to go, Bubble showed the world what he was made of and was a strong oppenent for all riders and horses that were competing against him. He won several Eventing shows with his rider Aliisa Pohl that he grew a strong bond with and both trusted each other as if they were one mind and one soul. She often joked about that Bubble was her life insurance in the Eventing courses around the world and the trickier the courses got the better they both were. In 2016 Aliisa and Martin Pohl, a sucessful german show jumping rider married and it was time for both to etablish an own riding centre that focuses mainly on competing a small collection of warmbloods bred for sport. Tannicht was founded, a small private modern facility in Lower Saxony, Germany that can stable 36 horses, 24 permament residents and 12 boarders with everything needed for training, competing and breeding horses for the big sports. |

{ F A C I L I T Y } » quality without compromise ······· Tannicht was founded by Aliisa and Martin Pohl in 2016, and its beginnings go back to an idyllic farmstead in Bramsche, near Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany. As, due to the growing stock of horses, the facility became too small and had to be expanded in 2017. In the beginning of 2018, Tannicht re-opened its doors for the public again. The facility is to be found in the north of Osnabrück, between Bramsche and Neuenkirchen, an 1 hour ride from Bielefeld and surrounded by woods, extensive meadows and located in the direct vicinity of the “Markish Golf Club”, the area offers first-class opportunities for sports and leisure activities, equally attracting a national and international public.
The architecture of a self-supporting heated hall wing framed with 24 roomy paddock stalls got built in 2017 by Röwer&Rüb and captivates through natural roof light and its bright and welcoming wooden structure. The 24-hectare site, besides countless meadows and stallion paddocks, accommodates two riding areas. One 60x20 dressage arena as well as a 70x60m show jumping training ground that can function as a show ground for numerous events as well. All horses, including the stallions have access to their paddocks during the day and are only stabled inside their stalls during the night for safety. In summer our horses are either to be found on the large meadows or on the 12 sand paddocks to benefit to their natural instincts and well being after their work for the day is done.
