This means that horses, characters, and establishments registered with the ESRPG can collect XP for their entries. However, this event is open to all members, and registration is not required for participation. LOCATION The show takes place in southwestern Finland. The ground is partly covered in snow, air is chilly and the wind makes it feel even colder. Luckily, in the barn it is possible to buy coffee and non-alcoholic glögg as well as different Christmas pastries and snacks! You are also welcomed to rent a stall for the duration of the show, if you really aren’t feeling like tacking your horse outside! This show is a local show hosted at a small barn, so no fancy facilities or professional level classes are found here. All disciplines are hosted in the riding hall and warming up takes place in the outdoor riding arena. EVENT DETAILS ✧ Season: Early winter ✧ Weather: Partly cloudy and chilly, temperature varies between -3c and -1c. The sun rises at 9:31am and sets at 3:21pm, that’s Finland for you. ✧ Location: Preferably in the middle of fields and some forests. ✧ Entry fee: 20€ (Only for players who use RP cash) EVENT RULES ✧ The eligible ESRPG careers for this show are Athlete (horses) and Competitor (characters). However, futurity horses and educators are welcome to enter for 50XP. Veterinarians who represent a business (such as their clinic) may enter for 100XP (and are permitted to do a health-check type of entry). ✧ Even if you aren’t registered with the ESRPG, you may still enter to take a chance to win other prizes. ✧ This is a themed show, so please keep the theme in mind! Read Entry Requirements for more. ✧ Horses can only collect XP once per career. Only horses clearly visible in the entry can earn XP. ✧ Max 3 entries per member per class, totaling 6 entries per discipline if entering both edited and unedited. ✧ Each horse may only enter once (but you may include more than one picture per entry). ✧ Open to all breeds, and all types of characters, including fantasy. ✧ Horses must be over the age of 4 to enter. ✧ Riders may be aged from child to elder. ✧ Competitors are allowed to ride multiple horses throughout the competition, but they may only collect XP once per career. ✧ No WIP posts! Post your entry only when it is 100% finished. ✧ XP can be collected once the entry is posted (it must fulfill entry requirements listed below!) ✧ Refusals, bad behavior, or injuries shown in your entry will not affect your ability to win the show overall. ✧ Disclaimer: By entering this show, you acknowledge that the winners of this event are determined by the event host, and based on their own criteria (see Judging). It will be judged to the best of their ability and based on integrity, however, judging is completely subjective. Results will be up to the judge's preferences and perspective. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ✧ You must submit at least one (1) photo. A little story to go with the photo is appreciated, but optional. ✧ Riders and horses should be turned out within appropriate tack and gear for participating in a horse show. No formal attire is required, any barn attire will do! ✧ Additionally, this is a festive-themed show so dress your characters and horses with festive colours, tinsel, tree ornaments, Christmas hats… Whatever you can come up with! ✧ Location should more or less meet the requirements listed in this post. ✧ If representing a stable, your rider and horse should wear the stable's colors in your event. JUDGING This event will be judged by community vote. Classes will be split in half by every 10th entrant, if there are more than 12 entries in a class. PRIZES Participation: ✧ +100XP if registered with the ESRPG 1st through 6th placement: ✧ Graphic ribbon ✧ In-game ribbon CLASSES Un-edited pictures may only have stirrup leathers, reins and/or lead ropes drawn in, clipping fixes, color correction and DOF. In the edited classes everything is allowed, but remember that more is usually less! 1. On the Location This class includes everything happening on the location apart from being on the course itself. Are you decorating your horse and yourself for the big show? Did something happen on the course that requires hot glögg - and loads of it? Tell about it in this class. Location: May be any on the show site. 1A. Edited 1B. Non-edited. 2. Dressage The dressage division stretches from beginners up to the 3rd Level. This is a local show, so keep that in mind while considering movements to perform. Junior riders may execute a dressage test without performing canter and may be accompanied by someone leading their horse. Location: Riding hall 2A. Edited 2B. Non-edited 3. Show jumping The show jumping class may include verticals, oxers and combinations from 30cm to 80cm. Jumps should represent a local level show with tidy, simple obstacles. Junior riders participating in the 30cm course may be accompanied by someone leading their horse. Location: Riding hall 3A. Edited 3B. Jillian counted strides in her head and with a large encouraging kick to the sides of her steed, Romeo lifted his legs and flew over large jump, not hesitating at its intimidating height or the spooky trees that stood beside it. "Atta boy!" she praised, rubbing his neck, "Only 4 to go."

This was the youngster's fourth show and he still felt ancy and spooky. That large brown jump was what Jillian was most afraid of, Potter was already spooking at the trees and they haven't even entered the ring yet! Even her positive attitude and christmas cheer couldn't keep herself from doubting the gelding. Their round started out clear to her surprise but despite her large encouraging kick and a large kissing sound many strides before the brown jump, the chestnut leaned on his hind end and planted his front legs right into the sand almost sending the girl out of the tack! "Boy am I gonna need some Gogg when I'm done here." she said to herself as the chestnut refused three more grueling times leaving them to exit the ring with disappointment.
