Yet another thread! I'm having difficulties with building my stable and finding a program to use to edit photos.
For editing programs, I only have access to Paint Tool SAI. I doubt I would be able to afford Photoshop at all. My biggest concern is blurring the backgrounds & more powerful tools than what SAI has, and I have no idea if there are any other programs with such tools as Photoshop does.
I also really want to put in a lot of detail immediately when I'm building my stables and my rooms. Should I focus on the basics first - room shapes, stables, etc? Or would it be better to concentrate on a room one at a time? I don't have too much patience unfortunately so it's easier to get things done quicker and plan later.
It'd be awesome if I could get some replies!

For building, I first set up the basic barn part, building each stall, with feeders and water as scencial, making a little tack room, some packs of food, things for cleaning, and then I put more things as deco, but first all the things that cover the horse needs, when that's done and I got time I detail the barn and the rooms I got.
For editing, I use Photoshop, just a basic one that can be download from any video at YouTube, but there's also people that use Gimp, and luckily, there are many tutorials at internet that can help you with editing (but also, practice is the key), example, Raymond Equestrian Center has a tutorial for editing in photoshop, is the basic, for beginner that will allowed you to start in the editing world

Gimp is free and has many features like those in Photoshop (not all, of course), I've been Gimp user for years now and I can highly recommend it (Although SAI has the best patch/curve tool EVER)

I'm looking for a more woodsy, green kind of stables. I just can't find good stone or brick wall painting or a good dark brown. Do you have any wallpapers with these specifics that I could get? Photoshop is definitely something I'm interested in, but it'd be hard learning how to do things as well. GIMP is something I'm going to look into for now, but dear god I'm glad tutorials exist LOL.
