Welcome to our humble abode, and all that it contains. This Scrapbook will be filled with all sorts of stories. adventures, and everything in between. The Wolf cries 'Never!' for it'll never stop at just one. What would the fun be at that? One photo, one story, one horse? Oh, dearly beloved-never.

Chapter One:
Mischief in Practice
I haven't been posting much because we've been renovating the barns, the house and stuff, but a few months ago we had some time for training and it was fun. We all practiced maneuvers in our homemade range and track. Aurora was...Aurora. She began the day with cuddling our cow, Moohilda and.. I have no idea what on earth or even how she manages to do it, but she managed to cuddle the cow... and ride the damn heifer.
No one really knows just how Aurora manages to woo unsuspecting animals or even how she comes out unharmed, but she does. We just leave her be and hope for the best, ahahaha.
Meanwhile, Selene and I took a break after finishing the set up for our new medieval tents and the shower. It was lovely to just sit on a boulder for a break and just read a book. Actually, that felt like heaven. For extra relaxing effort, add wine and chocolate (I am kidding...maybe).
One of our beloved grooms rode Ipanema for a short time to not just learn how to ride at a gallop, but also because for a part of the morning, Aurora and Moohilda were having a cuddle-fest, soooo...... Journey is a saint, just sayin', because she was right there with that man and taught him all the luxury buttons on our pint sized mighty mare. Ipanema is trained for mounted archery at high speeds, but she's gentle enough to be a beginner's horse which makes that mare a valuable asset.
Later, Journey and Lady practiced galloping through the track and flag posts while using only leg aids for steering and balance. It was a challenge for sure for Journey, but she said it was fun. Then again, Journey is quite a polite lady and Lady Like is...a Lady. They're made for each other, I promise.
And of course, there's Madeline. No one knows what goes in this girl's head, but Neo and her are just two unique peas in a pod. He's an unusually calm stallion and he's the most expressive around Madeline, and no one knows exactly how animals are just charmed almost instantly by being around her, but they are. From personal experience, it's kinda soothing to just be around this girl. She's always quiet, but her gentle and confident ways are just.. I dunno, uplifting, I guess. Peaceful is probably the word I'm looking for. Anyways, these goofs decided to trot the track with a halter and rope. I ain't gonna tell them otherwise. It's a casual training day for everyone but actually, I'm too tired to haul ass and lecture her. As long as no one is hurt, we're good.

Chapter Two:
Barn Renovations
Apologies for the lateness of our replies and stuffs. We've been super busy. We've been renovating the barn and added a few pastures. It's the result of non-stop jobs, one after the other, for the last few months. Cost of the new barn and stall fronts? $500,000. Hot walker? $35,000. Pastures? $25,000. Happy horses, annoying little farts running everywhere and dreams coming true? Absolutely priceless.
All in all, I think it was a job well done. We have a few boarders already here since we renovated, because we had to begin boarding. Why? The modelling jobs aren't enough to pay for the loans we took out to renovate everything, not including daily expenses like food, water, electric...The mortgage... And at $600 a month for an indoor stall and $500 for an outdoor stall, it's not a bad deal. Aurora recommended we build another barn but I had to tell her one thing at a time. Lord knows that woman has a mind of her own, but sheesh. I can only do so much at once.
