oh my gosh i also loved watership down. I was told it was too violent for me at age ten but I nonetheless enjoyed it!
I don't really watch stand-up comedy enough to have a specific favorite comedian, but I do have a favorite type of comedian - someone who doesn't make cruel jokes at the expense of others. Someone who's actually funny and not just spitting out stereotypes.
What did 5 year old you want to be when they grew up?
I wanted desperately to be a vet for a zoo. I even started out university in the pre-vet stream, but failed calculus and got told I clearly wasn't cut out to be a vet :'D (I also wanted to be a volcanologist, because I was fascinated by the sheer destructive power of the Earth.)

I'm pretty sure 5 year old me wanted to be a horse rider. That was around the age I saw a real horse for the first time and my older sister had begun looking for one of her own. Over time I've still always wanted to be one, but now my focus has shifted to becoming a Vet.
What first got you into horses?
For me it was seeing my older sister try them and being allowed to pet them. I fell in love with a little mare names Birtha and that's what started it all.

Family business back in my home country. I didn’t even go to some years at school because I was home on my dad’s farm. We didn’t actually do much in the way of riding our horses, but once we got the internet and I got a little older I started to explore and teach myself! And I guess our own horses along with me because they’d only been broke and went on occasional hacks—I didn’t even realize it as a kid but I was teaching our boys to jump at the same time I taught myself. I didn’t actually take a formal lesson until well into high school but I’d already been crashing local shows with cash and my uncle’s trailer for years. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
What’s the last movie you watched, and did you like it? Why/why not? Last movie I saw was at a youth shelter I spent a couple nights last week at; they had the TV going pretty much all night since some kids worked overnight and the staff needed to stay awake lol. It was one bug room with everything but the bathroom stalls, and at night we rolled out cots and folded down some shitty spring beds that went up sideways into the walls. And the TV was in the kitchen-y area with the cereal/coffee table but you could hear it from across the room where we slept so I watched the newer It movie my last night staying there. I did like it but some of the effects choices confused me. There were some really nice effects, but then others were just so fake and cheesy and obviously unrealistic. It seemed like a conscious choice and I don’t know why they made it. it made the whole movie feel cheaper. (Otherwise though I loved it!)

Do you know John Mulaney? If you like something darker but more psychological and deep, Bo Burnham def has some stuff up your alley too. But Mulaney is basically just fun, light comedy for everyone and against no one. Highly recommend!
