Mette stood nicely in place for the photographer, although the foal she was carrying had grown a lot lately. Still, the mare didn't seem to mind the little creature rolling inside her. In the next show they could have a little filly or colt running around.

Rosanna's face was drenching with sweat. Just a week ago they had ordered beautiful, matching show jackets for the whole staff - not knowing the temperature would rise above 25 celsius in the sun. At least there was a nice summer breeze blowing from the west.

Margaux felt so, so proud of Novocaine. They had already done a huge job with him with his brother and while the stallion was still a bit awkward and couldn't do much yet, they had progressed greatly in the basics of under saddle work. Above all, Novocaine had gained some muscle around his bones, which made the tobiano stallion look marvellous in the ring.

"MOVE, YOU IDIOT! It's a liberty class, be liberal!" Rosanna shouted at the gelding who was standing tightly on spot, staring at her with his dark, curious eyes. Rosanna stared back at Shrykos before cracking up - It was a local show after all, so there was nothing to stress about. Shrykos was anyway a gelding, Rosanna just had wanted to enter him since they missed Mayflowers.
