27/03/2019 On this day, 12 years ago, one of the best stallions in the history of Skydragon Stables was born. I was there when he opened his eyes for the first time, when he galloped through the meadow with his mother for the first time, when he first got his horseshoes and the 1000 of tries it took for someone to saddle him and ride him for the first time. I remeber when I first brushed him and fed him. He's been mine now for 9 years and although I love my other horses unconditionally as well, he'll Always have a special place in my heart!
Now that that cheesy message is out in the open, I can assure you that some cute babypictures of our 'Jackyboy' will be posted soon!

30/03/2019 Today I have for you a little throwback picture! The two sweet and curious faces in the picture are no other then little Jack and his mother Shirley. Jack really got his friendly nature and enthousiasm from this wondeful mare, who sadly passed away from old age around two years ago. Not only was she Jack's mother but also the dam of the twins Silhouette and Charlie!  |

When she was born she was in need of special care, our vet told us she was never going to make it, yet here she is: Firefly, daughter of Max and Affera (left). Today she was finally ready to be introduced to her two peers: Duchess and Imperiya. At first we weren't sure if the dominant 'Riya was going to accept Firefly, but everything went well and she even became buddy's with Duchess within the first hour   |

14/05/2019 It's been a while since I've updated this journal, and there is a reason for that. This year has not been kind to me... I lost both of my dogs, my grandfather and I got out of a relationship with my former best friend -so I tought- who turned out to be a manipulative and verbally abusive partner, my grades dropped and so the list goes on.... The sims, and especially this forum has been quite a distraction for all the negativity, I'm really glad I signed up here Now that I'm starting to pick my life up again it was also time for a new start in my game. That's why I put up most of my 'old' horses for adoption and why I'm currently making a lot of other changes to skydragon stables.
As a sign that I'm doing alright I have for you a little sneak peak of my progress: two lovely bay mares called Kitara (upper pic) and Narcotique. I'm quite proud of these ladies because they represent the new chapters in my life -to be cheesy-. enjoy

I'm so sorry you are having a rough time. I know the feeling better than most, having multiple diagnozises which makes my life quite difficult at times, but I have also learned that life goes on and things gets better, with time that is. I really do love the second horse, what is his breed? He is quite lovely and I hope I can borrow her in the making of a Knabstrup Sports Horse one day, if you will allow me to do so, that is |

Stay strong girly, I've been in your shoes before and I know it's not a fun time. Life will get better. There is this song I listen two from time to time from the musical "Annie" I think it's called "Tomorrow" and my favorite line is: "The sun will come out tomorrow but you've gotta hang on till tomorrow". Just reminds me to keep my head up and stay positive. I'm excited about the future of Skydragon stables!

I'm currently studying hard to pass my finals while trying to "get back out there" without hyperventilating every 5 mins but I'm sure with some time I'll be back on track (hopefully) as for the stables: it will continue to exist of course. But I'm thinking about making it more of a BWP stud and show barn just because I rlly enjoy participating in halter and breed shows, maybe open up a small riding school as well I'm still deciding. I'm having some trouble finding inspiration for the building but that's for after the exam period here's a random screen from Duchess  |
