That's right, Amelia Elmerick, the city slicker, is now the not-so-proud owner of a goddamn stable. It all started about a week ago, when I got a phone call regarding the passing of my grandfather. Although there was no secret that he owned a little "farm", who would have thought I'd be the one to inherit it? I mean, why didn't my stupid brother just take it? I'm a business woman, not some rancher! Anyway, after a bunch of thinking, I decided to head out to said farm. If I wasn't going to house any animals, why not sell it for profit? There's probably someone crazy enough to buy it. Upon arrival, I noticed that it actually wasn't half bad. It looked as if someone had been taking care of the place, despite being left without an owner for a month. Whoever it was, I wish I had thanked them at the time. "Huh, I might be able to make a decent amount of money," I said to myself, a small smile lurking its way onto my cold face. Examining the place closer, I noticed there was quite a lot of feed bags tucked away in a corner, along with a stash of hay. I just shrugged it off, not knowing any better. After checking out the inside of the little barn, a strange noise coming from the back caught my attention. It was awfully suspicious, and I couldn't help but pray to God that it wasn't what I was thinking. Taking a deep breath, I looked out the window, immediately feeling my stomach turn upside down. In the midst of the snow stood a pony, it being as bright as the snow itself. Had it not been for the blanket it was wearing, I probably wouldn't have seen it. Sure, it was beautiful and all, but who would buy a pony like that? It was a strange sight, if I'm honest. Its coat was surprisingly clean, while its hair had grown out to the point it was covering its eyes. That had to be uncomfortable. Nonetheless, I was dazzled. What was I supposed to do now?

Fortunately, I was able to find a site in which it was registered. As it turns out, ~~it's~~ he's a Highland Pony; a grey stallion by the name "EWQ Eventodor". Strange name for a strange pony, huh? Obviously I'm not going to call him that, therefore I'm going with Charlie - it's simple, and easy to say. I don't have much of an update today (I have to make a few calls!), but I did find a beautiful photo of Charlie! My grandfather must have really loved him, so I'll try looking through his old journal that I found stashed away for any additional information. Whatever the case is, I've decided one thing: I'm not selling anything.

Fortunately it's not another horse this time, but an old friend! While I was out and about, a funny little woman by the name Sarah Ashton approached me. Now, Sarah and I go way back. In fact, we used to be somewhat friends back in high school. She was that one crazy horse girl, and yet we still clicked. However, as time passed and our lives changed, we eventually grew apart - just like any other simple friendship. Still, I always kept tabs on her (I promise I'm not a stalker!), and she became a great rider, just like she'd always wanted. Hell, she was even dreaming of going to the Olympics one day, but so far that hasn't happened. I wonder why? Anyhow, we had a long chat about things (including some big plans ), and eventually headed out to karaoke. It was extremely fun!

"You wish. There's no way I'm going to turn into you." The petite woman rolled her eyes at my behavior, "you're already thinking of building a facility, so why not just jump into it? You might as well learn to ride!" "Don't push it."
