Mallory is a 50 year old former competitor who manages Sycamore Stud and its competition circuit. She is best known for her extensive career with titled stallion CE Afacan, and has been well versed in most English disciplines — particularly eventing. She is often cranky and swears too much, but is dedicated to the improvement of future competitors of Equus. She will be the clinician for the XC and dressage participants.
Maeve Carolan is a 33 year old Irish show-jumper. Known for her career with mount, Proper, Maeve has decades of showing experience. Prior to her career in the Grand Prix show jumping circuit, Maeve showed Hunter/Jumpers from her childhood through her teenage years. Maeve will be the clinician for the hunters and jumpers participating in the clinic.
Mallory is an Educator registered the with the #ESRPG. You may collect 100XP per Competitor that enters. Maeve is registered as a Competitor, but is here to share her knowledge from her career as a Grand Prix show-jumper.
Rules and Regulations: Please be prompt to your selected clinic. You may enter up to 3 Competitors. Competitors may ride the same horse if they wish. It is encouraged that you bring a horse you may not ride often. It will help build confidence and address issues that may not be present on your regular mount. Formal show attire not required. Just don’t show up in your lounge clothes. Polo or sweater and clean breaches are fine. You are not required to make the scene look like our farm. You are more than welcome to use your own arenas and XC courses. Please provide a description, however brief or long as you want, of what the rider and mount are working on in this clinic!
Participation Prizes: All entries will be made into an in-game painting to decorate your stable! This prize is a donation from sponsor Bits and Pieces! Please note that the paintings will come combined with other entries. If your entry potentially being used in another game bothers you, please note that in your entry, but be advised that just means you will miss out on the participation prize.

Rider's Name: Stanley Carolan Horse's Name: Cooper Discipline: Dressage (he's a beginner, basically taking a beginner flat lesson) Participation Prize (y/n): yeeee
Did you ever want to find out what it was like to hurtle an oversized dog through time and space? Stanley didn’t, but here he was. Sitting upon the back of the enormous hairball that is Cooper, being told that he was going to CANTER him today. Lovely. Several months back, his wife, Maeve, informed him that she had been invited to be a clinician at a little barn in South Carolina. Oh how perfect!, she had enthused, telling him that they would just trailer Cooper along so he could take a lesson with her old friend Mallory. Maeve had insisted that they were dressed and groomed to perfection, as they would be representing her and her facilities. She must be absolutely nuts, Stanley concluded. He was too much of a novice rider to be entrusted to represent much of anything except a distinct lack of knowledge on how to properly steer.
"Look, I haven't got all goddamn day. You're either going to canter in the next corner, or you're going on the line." Several spectators laughed. What an embarrassment. Just then, he passed Maeve on the rail.
"Sit the trot. Outside leg back and squeeze." she snarled, apparently forgetting that she wasn't coaching him right now. Dreading the embarrassment of being put on the line in front of all these accomplished riders, Stanley took a deep breath. As he hit the corner, he sat bounced the trot and moved his leg back.
To his surprise, he didn't immediately implode. Sure, it wasn't pretty, and Stanley was a little worried that his flopping around would bother Cooper, but it was a canter.
"See? Maeve bought you the slowest, calmest horse on the market. Unfortunately. Not very exciting for me." Mallory seemed to scowl at the fact that Stanley was still mounted.

Rider's Name: Savannah West Horse's Name: SY Elephant Discipline: Show Hunting Participation Prize (y/n): yes
Savannah trotted around the ring, her failed racing gelding -- the slowest horse in the world -- lazily picking up his legs as they made small, neat circles. Mallory was not the clinician for this class, but she could feel her eyes staring through her. Savannah hoped Maeve would be a little more gentle with her teachings than Mallory is.

I know this show ended a few days ago, is it officially closed? Would you consider extending it for another week?

Rider's Name: Akil Sutherland Horse's Name: Andromeda 61 SME Discipline: Show Jumping Participation Prize (y/n): yes
Sycamore Stud was only an hour's drive, with the season winding down Akil figured why not go, especially considering that Grand Prix jumper Maeve Carolan was running the session. They had done well, but Andromeda's approach and strides still left a little something to be desired.

Thank you to everyone who entered our clinic! Participation prizes will be sent out as soon as I can make them. I am in the final stretch of my senior project, so that has priority right now, but I expect within the next week or so I will be able to put it together and send it out.
