Manhattan Stables is a 48-acre estate in Westchester County, New York. Purchased in 2016, the facilities were completely renovated to breathe new life into this 120-year old farm. The land's original character is still evident in the stone barns and shady oaks dotting the property. Beyond serving the greater Westchester County area, Manhattan Stables is an escape for boarders and riders living in New York City, and is easily accessible via Metro North.
Owned by Kate Noble, Manhattan Stables is primarily a breeding and training facility, with a dedicated livery stable for boarders. Our facilities include:
- 20-stall boarding and training barn with office and boarder lounge
- 4-stall foaling barn
- 8-stall stallion barn with breeding shed
- 8 paddocks with shelters
- 6 large pastures
- 4 outdoor wash racks
- 2 hotwalkers
- 2 roundpens
- Professional, lighted jumping arena with bleachers
- Dressage arena
- Large and small practice / hacking arenas
- Access to 12+ miles of nearby trails, including beach

As a full-service boarding, breeding, and sales facility, Manhattan Stables provides equestrians with everything they need to enjoy and advance their riding careers. Services include:
|BOARDING||Stall: 12x12 stalls with internal and external doors|
Paddock: 16x16 paddocks
Pasture: Large communal pastures. Horses paired based on temperament. Availability dependent upon weather.
All include 2x daily feeding, 1x daily grain, medication as needed; 2x daily mucking; 1x daily turnout if on stall board
|TRAINING||Full training includes 6x week rides, including 2x targeted training days, 3x hacks, and 1x trail if requested. Training plans are customized to each horse and riders' goals, and revisited with riders each quarter. |
Half training includes 4x week rides, including 1x targeted training days, and 3x hack or trails.
Competition training includes full training PLUS professional prep and showing at select shows, at additional cost.
Rehab training is tailored to the needs of each horse, and includes oversight by our stable vet and specialized treatments (massage, light therapy, equine pool, etc.)
All training options include lunging, side-rein, or other unmounted work as appropriate.
|LESSONS||Lesson packages are customized to fit each rider's goals, and are integrated into competition plans. Packages range from 4x week lessons to 1x week (minimum required to be part of the formal lesson program). Riders may opt for professional oversight on hack days, when available. Riders wishing to lesson more than 4x per week may do so on school horses.|
|BREEDING||Manhattan Stables runs a full breeding program, focused on European Warmbloods. We currently have 2 stallions at stud and 3 estate broodmares. Our stallions stand at stud in the spring, and fresh and frozen semen are available year-round. We proudly raise, train, compete, and sell offspring from our broodmares.|
We also offer breeding board, which involves standing your stallion at stud, and/or boarding and caring for your mare.
|SALES||Manhattan stables offers a targeted sales program, which includes board, full training, and competitions. Our program identifies areas for training improvement; selects shows where your horse will gain the greatest experience and exposure; and markets your horse. Additionally, we leverage our expansive network to act as a matchmaker for your horse, ensuring a quick sale.|
|IMPORTS||Through trusted relationships with top European breeders, we are able to source talented young horses for our riders. Our primary connections are located in the Netherlands and Belgium.|
|SHOWS||Manhattan Stables hosts 1 A-level jumping show per year, the New York Classic in May. We also offer schooling shows 2-3x per year, with hunter, equitation, jumping, and dressage classes. Jumping classes are offered up to 4'.|
|EVENTS||Our beautiful property is available on a limited basis for special events, including breed showcases, inspections, off-site rides, weddings, and parties. Priority is given to equestrian-related activities, and events are scheduled to ensure minimum impact on the boarding and riding environment.|
