Hey pals.
I know the community has been more or less inactive this half of the year, many older and newer members completely gone. Shows without participants, albums without comments, threads without chatter. How did we end up like this?
There are many great and different shows going on right now and I know people are busy under the holidays, but I just wish everyone capable would just take their time and enter one horse in to a show. Or take a Christmas picture of your characters and post it in your album, or post a Christmas greeting on the forum just to say hi!
I know I myself am part of the problem: I started my uni studies in September while simultaneously my old laptop broke, so I had to wait until Black Friday to get a new one. And yet, I still haven't installed Sims on this laptop because a) I haven't got the time and b) I've worked really hard in the background to plan my future characters, horses, facilities, stories etc. But I'm definitely part of the problem.
There probably are many people like me out there - willing to be active, but the inactivity of the forum takes a lot from our motivation to actually play the game and create something. It's an endless void that's going to continue growing and eventually swallow up the whole of the forum. At this point, I think my top wish for Christmas is that we'd get this community up and running again. It won't happen in a night or even in many holly jolly nights, but slowly I'm sure we can revive this forum to what it used to be.
Let's make 2019 the year of Equus-Sims, yeah? Hugs to you all and happy holidays!
