Stormhaven Academy was created to give students fundamental knowledge and experience around gaited horses. We go in depth and teach all about horse care, learning behavior, interspecies interaction, gaits, horse training and more.
We also try to give each student a basis on which they can grow and continue learning. Students will have the chance to work with their own horses and/or our own to further their skills and develop a better feeling for the horse.
To keep in touch with our students we required regular updates on their progress, to know where they are and if they are ready to advance to the next class. By completion of this program you earn the title Stormhaven Graduate and will receive a Diploma.
How it works
Register by clicking the link below. Tell us if you will be joining with your own horse or if you are interested in one of our horses.
After joining you will receive an email with the Stormhaven file. It is the basic shell of the main Stormhaven barn you can use to take the pictures on. This is not a requirement, but helpful for role-play purposes.
You start with course 1 and work your way through each course. A course is completed by sending in a submission.
Feel free to study up on the topic, however this is purely for role-play, no actual knowledge is required. Just have fun with it. The submission will not be judged.
In the submission you can write whatever you like about the course you took. You can write an anecdote, about what you have learned, a lesson you struggled or succeeded with or whatever you like. Add at least one picture to your story and send it off.
The submissions have to be sent in (link below), they of course can also be posted here in this thread. Since we are proud of each student we would like to show them off, so with your permission we would like to publish them on our blog and/or Website. Submissions can also stay private, if explicitly asked for.
